Default Weather Mod

Hey all,
I'm looking for a Weather Mod for my computer. I am currently running the GWX with the Silent Hunter Commander.
I've read how the original game had the unrealistic weather patterns and the expansions still have the issue as I'm sure people know.
I hit a storm near the Iceland coast and I'm currently along the North England coast just past scrap flow 3 days later - with the same %#** storm. 3 days?? Storm of the century I suppose. (I have a ship 400 meters away and they can't see it.)
I'm posting because Im not great at mods that's aren't an install or enabler. Can someone point me toward a mod that fixes the issue that I can use?

Thanks very much. Regards,

Celtic

GWX should have the fix inside of it.

Well maybe it's just me but that storm seemed mighty unnatural. Maybe Commander disabled it?

Do you have the GWX files for SH3C? As far as I know it should not have made a difference anyways.

Three days for a North Atlantic storm? Not uncommon, certainly not uncommon in winter. From what I've read, a week wouldn't be extreme - long but not a record breaker. The complaints that led to the fixes were about storms that lasted 1-2 months. That's unrealistic and unplayable. (Dull, too!)

You traveled East, the predominate weather pattern is from West to East in real life, the storm just traveled with you.

My Bad then, I thought it seemed odd, but then again its the beginning of October so as you said storms are a common occurrence.
1-2 months? I won't complain then.
Thanks guys!
