the teleporting commands are working fine... so you are right .. maybe he need to decrease the confidence level

Hope so!

Training the MS SpeechRecognition can be very important too. First time I used it, the recognition rate was very low, training helped!

No probleme Miton,It is not Important, just disappointed that I do not manage to use it correctly... just damage because this mod adds quite a lot of realism to the game.
Otherwise, I liked this mod.

only problem I've been having with it is the Teleport to Bridge command which I end up in the radio room :/ Other then that it's working great.

Hi d3vnu11,

this is strange, just looked at the coressponding files and everything looks fine there! I personaly never had problems with teleport to bridge. It's working like charm.

Could you please verify through SHSpeechEngineTest.exe that the command "Teleport_To_HUD" is executed when you saying "teleport to bridge". (look at post 270)

The test app clearly shows me saying "Teleport To Radio" even though I say "Teleport to Bridge" so technically it's working but it's not recognizing what I say correctly. I'm a native english speaker so I know I'm pronouncing it correctly . I did one round of voice training for MS voice prior to finding this issue. .99 confidence reports me still saying "Teleport to Radio". Maybe a typo somewhere ? Or maybe MS voice recognition issue ? Or my mod soup at the end.

Somehow "bridge" was missing in the stations rule? So after all I'm just human!
No idea why you are the first to report this? Nobody else teleporting to bridge?


Should be fixed now, just download again or add the "yellow" in
SHSpeech_Grammar.xml:

Ah makes sense now. Yes after my 16 years of programming you get used to finding bugs its part of the joy of coding . When I get home from work I'll let ya know it's working ASAP. And maybe some people didn't realize you could teleport to bridge ?

My english is poor also... so what you can do in this case:

1) before enabling the mod go to C:\Ubisoft\Silent Hunter 5\MODS\Speech Recognition_v1.4_MiTons_NewUI_Editon _english\data\Scripts\Menu

2) here you will have an file called : Speech Recognition.py

3) open this file with notepad and search for this line:

speech.Confidence = 0.75 # This is the default and could be ommited!

4) change the line for example like this:

speech.Confidence = 0.65 # This is the default and could be ommited!

5) save

6) enable the mod... in this way the voice commands will be executed even your english is ,,so and so'' like my english

That works

I modified some orders with words simpler to pronounce and more problems.
teleport to bridge Not worked not(my bad/poor english?), then I modified it and that works!
(I do not know why, but not means to launch this order...)
ex:
teleport to bridge =>> teleport to deck

I also modified some other orders, to make them a little more real...
All Stop =>> engine stop

etc..etc...

In this file(SHSpeech_Commands.xsl) I also modified it:

<order><!-- teleport to radio -->
<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radar</commandText>
</order>

<order><!-- teleport to radio -->
<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radio</commandText>
</order>


And added these lines:

<order><!-- teleport to radar-->
<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radar</commandText>
</order>

And then, I modified or added some other orders, maintaining everything seems to work thank you for this(they) very well mod

Did you alter the SHSpeech_Grammar.xml accordingly? You always have to have a corresponding "Grammarfile" or your commands will not be reocgnized.

In this file(SHSpeech_Commands.xsl) I also modified it:

<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radio</commandText>

There is no "Teleport_To_Radio" in the Speech Recognition.py or in Game Commands.txt, so this command will do nothing!!
You shouldn't change anything inside <commandText>....</commandText> unless you know what you are doing.

And added these lines:

<order><!-- teleport to radar-->
<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radar</commandText>
</order>

You coppied a working command, why?? If you want to add more phrases to be recognized, make sure they are in SHSpeech_Grammar.xml and then add them like this.

<order><!-- teleport to radar-->
<phrase>teleport to radio</phrase>
<phrase>NEW PHRASE</phrase>
<commandText>Teleport_To_Radar</commandText>
</order>


And then, I modified or added some other orders, maintaining everything seems to work thank you for this(they) very well mod
