You should add to the manual that under Windows 10 the .exe should be set to Windows 7 compatibility.
Before I did that I had many CTDs, afterwards not a single one...

Thank you for this tip. I gave up on WAC because of CTD's, maybe I will try this!

It doesn’t help at all. From day one i tried WAC, had constantly CTDs even with Win7 compatibility, 4GB patch etc etc
Not to say the horrible mess in harbor when back at base.

WAC5 is difficult to keep running.

To avoid CTD I start at sea and finish before I get into port at about 25 KM from base. As Fifi indicated the harbor is crowded and FPS drops really low and stutters. I think it really needs a harbor light version to help with stability. Be mindful of the amount of mods you activate.

Hmm... do either of you know if the game is better with the wide screen and no interiors or interiors and standard screen ratio (does one or the other take more resources)?

You shouldn't activate too many mods at once and especially not the interiors and other graphics mods...

I play without interiors and with standard resolution, the WS crashes everytime with a not functioning 3D-engine...

Just basic WAC 5.1...nothing else.
Can’t have NASA computer either to run it

Sorry, i have it too, and result is not that good either.
I tried everything possible i know of...same problem.
Don’t worry, there are others modpack around, at least as good as WAC...

Nothing is as good as WAC...
Maybe your computer simply is too weak, as WAC is the most demanding but also best looking Mod?

Yes my PC is probably too weak for WAC, as i told you i don’t have a Nasa computer and don’t want to buy one in any case

Best looking...depending everyone taste.

I also didn´t have the best computer available and it runs fine...
