You already asked further north "For an aircraft landing in snow" and i answered "Yes, but not necessarily in snow".
So yes it is an aircraft, not an airship.

Then please accept my apologies but I've always thought there was a clear distinction between a church and a cathedral.

Here in the UK every town etc. has at least one church but protocol has always dictated that for somewhere to be a city, there must be a cathedral within its boundaries.

Not sure if that is still the case today though (Sunderland near me having recently been declared to be a city but doesn't have a cathedral).
