I would keep at it because I think a lot will use this mod. I'm thinking it is FPS friendly for some!

Hi Kapt`n Keldung,

All WeO------.ogg_files in the Speech_Folder not used with SH4, look into the Phrases_Voice_1 -9.dats, you will see no WeO´s entrys. Only in SH3 the WeO------.ogg_files are in used.

I am willing to help any way I can but mind you it has been a long time since I moderated in silent hunter 3 *only* and im just now re-aquainting myself to the tools & trying for the life of me to remember how I had my game at one time.. wich ofcourse i didnt back up *sigh*

anyr8 I am more of a 3d Modeler & textureing artist or even a sound effects wiz verses or compared to a syntax developement team guru.. but I can still make my way around it..

however I am unaware of editing in sh4 thus far so ile have to take a look @ it if any1 has any quality assurance requests

you can count on me for all your beta testing needs as long as I can play it

It's only for US subs? In german campaing no water streams and no diesel exhaust.

My installation is:
1, a clean install of SH4 1.5
2,OpsMonsun_V700
3,OM_V700_Patch3
4,Sh3-Env_Sound_EngGerSpeech_to_stock_Sh4 1.5-

In this order.
What am I doing wrong?

Water streams and Diesel exhaust is for US subs. Sh3 High-res Skins,
is for U-boats. New installation order for Stock SH41.5.
1, a clean install of SH4 1.5
2,Sh3-Env_Sound_EngGerSpeech_to_stock_Sh4 1.5-
3,OpsMonsun_V700
4,OM_V700_Patch3
Reason is that OM700 crew has a bit different clothes than stock 1.5 german side crew. warm clothes for cold atlantic.

Hi Capatain von Keldunk! I'm playing with your mod and everything is going very well but ... What files need to "touch" to get a water less transparent and not see the silhouette of the U-boat? The truth, is pretty graphic efect, but the it's not very realistic. Being able to see the silhouette of a ship at sea under the water is zero. We can only see it with a model in a swimming pool.

It is not a criticism of your work. This is for the boys from Ubi (we could talk at another time because a submarine at sea with a storm behaves with the stability of an aircraft carrier in SH4), but since you're working with the environment .... he, he, he.

My English is not very good. Sorry.

Hello
You need S3D tool, open sub dat file, like "NSS_Uboat9a.dat", next open
WaterReflection, you see:
Reflection = 1
Refraction = 1
Change Refraction = 1 to Refraction = 0 and now there is no underwater
sub hull refraction, you need to do same thing to sub turm also,
for "NSS_Uboat9a.dat" it is "Turm9c_1_hd.dat".
Hope this helps and your english is better than mine.
