[REL]SH3 Enviroment in SH4?? New=version3

Patch1_v3_RFB for Sh3toSh4.V3_RFB_RSRDC_OM

Version 3 Tweaks for RSRDC,OM, RFB, TMO ,Stock Sh4 1.5.
This works with SH4 1.5 also you need RSRDC and OM705
How IXA Stern-gun works: But crew to Stern-gun slots(3) in crew management screen,(Press del to remove user interface if needed)
then press "Man the AA gun button".
Ships motion at sea tweaked, for Fleetboats and Uboats, Diesel exhausts for Fleetboats and U-boats tweaked again,Water streams and/or
diesel exhausts to U-boats IIB, IIC, IID, VIIB,VIIC,IXA,IXB,IXC, IXC40, IXD2.Also IXA has bow and stern gun and flag.IIC and IID starboard
prop fixed (now it moves).

Installation with JSGME:
RFB, or TMO ,or Stock Sh4 1.5.
RSRDC (correct version)
OpsMonsun_V705
Sh3toSh4.V3_RSRDC_OM (correct version)

Here is more integrated version of my Sh3 toSh4 env mod.
A new thing is that when you play US side you hear English voice, and when you play german
side you hear german voice. Yes now it is possible to play in both languages with same install .

As my scene file did not agree with RFB I removed it.
So now you have nice mixed RFB enviroment with SH3 elements.
A new thing is that when you play US side you hear English voice, and when you play german side you hear german voice.

Also US sub water streams and exhaust smoke is integrated. + German sub stock SH3

Sh4 env made to look like stock Sh3 env.
Env colors, waves, and Speech/sounds/music + Uboat low/res skins.
Gredits to skwas for S3D. Sounds and env files are separete mods in same 7-zip file so you can use only env mod without sounds (with fleetboats). Captain von Keldunk. size 90.3 Mt
Recommended mods
OM700 (current version)
OM Patch (if any)
Sh3EnvToSh4V2 (Env mod +Sound mod)
EyePatch
SH4_1.5_Uboat_freeCamFix.
About Sh3ToSH4Sounds, if you hear english speak instead of german,
go to C:\MODS\Sh3ToSh4Sounds\Data\Sound\Speech folder, in it is a foler named as "1" then make 8 copies of this folder and name them from 2 to 9.
so that you have nine folders named 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9. now you shoud only hear german lanquage. reason why I put only one folder in my mod =
Saved a lot of work ,also 160Mt smaller mod size.

What you have here is Sh3 env files, EnvColors_Atl, and SkyColors_Atl adapted to Sh4
to get your Sh4 look as close to Sh3 as possible. I made only minimum changes.
I changed sun multipliers in SkyColors_Atl to 1. That was all to it.
Recomended mods:
OM700.
Real enviroment.
Sh3_env_to_Sh4
Eye patch.
SH4_1.5_Uboat_freeCamFix.
Also I recommend to turn Post Process filters to off, as SkyColors_Atl texture looks as painted with
water colors if you have it on.
And now you can play Sh3 in Sh4. Gredits to skwas for S3D. For my work, NO Permission needed use as you like.
So jimbuna tarjak etc, it is still long wait for gwx4,
but "Sh3_env_to_Sh4" is here now..

Does it means we have the SH3 campaign/upgrade system but running in the sh4 improved graphical engine without noticable effect on the water rendition?

(I didnt wanted to play SH3 just because i couldnt bring back the GREAT environmental mods developped by Kriller and W_Clear.)

Yes sh3 enviroment look and feel, with transparent water.
That is using sh3 EnvColors_Atl, and SkyColors_Atl adapted to Sh4.
So when you play Sh4 operation monsuun mod, enviroment looks like Sh3.
Sure Krillers and W_clear Real enviroment works and looks good for this.

Good point, Maybe only 8 km
I will test 16 km it shoud have better textures, if so then I will make a new
wersion. maybe then using Post Process filters are not a problem THX

yes The water is transparent, Wave action is from "real enviroment mod"
Only EnvColors_Atl, and SkyColors_Atl are from sh3.

Heh no way, I woud like to play GWX4 but I hope that this way SH3 never dies as you can play now in "SH3 stock" like enviroment in SH4.
Seriously I am bit worried cause I have not seen any clouds, so maybe I need to port sh3 "EnvColors_Atl" data to sh4 one, also I tried sh3 16 km "SkyColors_Atl". but it did not work.
so I think I will adjust stock sh3 one, in gimp photo editor.
Also I wonder how GWX4 will look in "SH3 stock version" like enviroment

Working on version 2 of Sh3 env toSh4 mod

Hello
First, I was right you can NOT get any clouds with Sh3 "EnvColors_Atl".
So I copied data to Sh4 "EnvColors_Atl". And then tweaked colors to match.
Now I have Graphic part nearly finished, but I want also to add Sh3 sounds to Sh4.
I will release them in one 7-zip file, but in different folders.
This way you can use Graphic part of the mod for Fleet boats if you vant.
Here are some pics.. "Post process filters and full scene glare" off and you
have , Hrrr cold Atlantic wery "stock Sh3" type enviroment.



Here put "post process filters" and "full scene" glare back on and we are
in warm Pacific. but hmm.. not in a fleet boat



What.. is this really "stock Sh3" like colors, no I took artistic liberty here.
I like it this way.
