688 Attack Sub In Defend Reloaded!
I have copy of 688 Attack Sub running under Defend Reloaded using Windows Vista!

To each his own, but what's the point of running 320x200 game on high resolution LCD screen in Windows environment?
I much prefer to run it in its original environment on a real 14" CRT monitor, preferably on Amiga. It makes a ton of difference! PS> This was probably the best 688 sim before Fast Attack in 1996. |

D-Fend Reloaded is a good Dosbox frontend where you can make a lot of adjustments for grafics (also screen size adjustments), sounds, game speed, mouse control tweaks etc. I like it for all DOS games. I have SS and Red Storm Rising installed together with other DOS games I like.
It's often necessary to run the 'setup.exe' that comes with the game, and D-Fend just allows you to run and set them up with a right mouse click. Other than that it's easy to manage all your games in one interface. A must-have for Dos games I think. And the games all work like with the original equipment, I would say: even better... |
