So ship names are linked to class, but *not* nationality, correct? I was disappointed to accidentally sink a Japanese freighter only for it to have an English name, but I just edited the patrol log with some Japanese ship names.

At any rate, hats off to sailor steve (who if im correct did the bulk of ship names, right?) . Whenever I sink a warship or a liner I'm always excited to check my personnel file and google whatever that ship was :P

also, steve, if you happen to see this, your answers to old forum questions from 2007 to now have been so helpful in fixing my mod install issues. You and that Jim guy are like the Kings of this forum. Keep up the good work

i have some problems with SH3 Commander and Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 Final.
the single missions works without problem,but if i launch a new career via SH3 commander i have a CTD when i try to start the patrol
what could be the problem?

Sounds like more of a memory problem vs. a Commander problem. This mod uses a lot of memory; single missions use less vs. a campaign loading hence the campaign ctd. Do you have a 4gb patch installed ?

I do not belive,SH3 commander works fine but without Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080
my pc has a memory of 16GB
PS:i instaled the 1.16b patch kit with 4gb mod activated

It's not Commander causing the problem. I.e, if the game works fine without the GUI, but doesn't with it, I know what I would first suspect is the problem.

the combination SH3+GWX3+Patch 1.6b+Ahnenerbe WideGui 1920 x 1080 works fine in any aspect
Only SH3 coomander has the roblem to launch the campain

Does a combination of SH31.4b+GWX3+H.sie's 16b+Commander work fine in any aspect ? If so, then the problem is the GUI.
