Actually, the first Silent Hunter was the foundation of the Silent Hunter series, it being the first and all...

I would have to say no, i played it for a bit but just could not get into it, it ended up on my shelf pretty darn fast. Ironically I would be more likely to play destroyer command then ever play SH2 again.

I saw a SHII game in store (the first subsim I've EVER seen instore

). I was going to buy it but I'd probably go for SH3 or 4 if I can grab a copy. Not sure if that's relevant to the topic

But yes, I nearly bought it then since my money had be spent towards my 2nd horse, I have to wait
