GWX and NYGM are not compatable with one another...both are standalone super mods.

There is nothing stopping you installing NYGM separately and giving it a go though.

What a crazy question !

During the development of GWX I personally have been checking the transit of ships in all ports along the American East coast (from Canada to Argentina), but I've got to admit I've never been thinking about testing such a thing !

My advice to you would be not to play with fire too much.

From Oct 41 there is an anti-sub net blocking the entrance.

This is going to sound stupid, but when I try to return to port in Silent Hunter III with the GWX, the base defenders (shore guns) and what not start firing on me.

WELCOME ABOARD!

First question: Did you go out in August 1939 and sink some ships? GWX allows you to start that early so you can go to your patrol zone and wait for September 3, which is when British and Allied ships become legitimate targets (Germany invaded Poland on Sept 1, so they are targets at that time). In August all countries are neutral or friendly, so attacking their ships makes you then enemy of everyone, including Germany.

Well, problem solved...

I wasn't sure about the dates, double checked my history to see if I was missing anything, figured it was a glitch.

Lesson learned, career, take two... Wish command wouldn't have kept sending those "Congratulations!" messages from patrol reports.

lol, reminds me of the time I accidently torpedo a friendly BB in port. Some of the controls are too cramped together on the keyboard.
