They frightened UBI with their GWX4 mod so much, that UBI decided to release SH5 as soon as possible...

But let me think...
Does it mean SH5 will be tested more thoroughly than the former versions or does it mean it will be rushed out to beat the GWX4 mod?

I am not fully sure but the Engine room made by Tomi for GWX4 looks better and more detailed than the Engine room showed by UBI in this SH5 preview

i think they should release sh5 before the end of this year but get an army of people to test it mabey they should ask evry member on sub sim to test it then once we have tested it they give us all a copy for our troubles

and then gwx can dominate with there crushing sh4 victory and think glad we never bought sh5 we got it here in sh4 lolz

I think they should keep going with GWX 4, not that any of you are telling them to stop. But I always remembered playing GWX on SH3 when my computer was too bad to be running SH4, so I can only hope they will do the same, but with sh4 and 5 instead

I am quite sure Ubi Romania does not imagine themselves in competition with the GWX team.

And of course the GWX guys should keep going. For Tomi's work alone. He has put far too much into it for it not to be seen in game! I am sure others on the GWX team can say the same for work they have done as well, I just haven't seen it to be able to comment.

Alot of people will not have computers that can't run SHV so will stick with IV, just like we have now with people still playing III.

Hello comrades ,

well i have a "selfmade" 4.5 ghz pc with crossfire ,lian li case,mobo heatpipe mod ,bla bla etc etc, i use track ir 5 for il2 1946 (mods etc)
BUT
i still play sh3 + gwx because i just dont like the sh4 atmosphere.
Played sh4 addon and its like micky mouse stuff compared to the feindfahrt-action in sh3.
I really admire the work of gwx but ONE thing i always change at any gwx install....the music/soundtrack ingame deserves the original "das boot themes" that i always copy from an old AOTD mod

nothg beats the atmo when you bring up periscope when enemy is near with the same music like in the movie..you know..the theme when they sit in turret and watch the convoy at night until the kaleun commands the surface attack...maybe gwx cant use this music due to copyright etc but i do

I am dwnldg gwx3 gold atm,i cant believe i missed the 3rd part and now i see the 4th part in range

btw in il2 community everybody waits for battle of britain release and everytime some noobs are asking, we say "2 weeks" like the creator of il2,oleg "lazy russian" maddox often said..and it took ages + 2 weeks hehe
but he got paid for it.
