Aircraft Carrier Not Counting? + AMC Ships

Hello all,

I sunk an eagle class aircraft carrier within the CAP zone, it was surrounded by 6 or 7 warships and I had to guestimate and salvo shoot it but I got it. however, it doesn't seem to be counting. My british coastal waters counted fine and is completed now.

Do I have to end patrol for it to count? Also does anyone know what AMC ships are?
