Lurker is right. I've only had a couple missions where I sunk nothing but it does happen. Part of war.

I was sent on one mission and decided it was too risky with only 2 torps left so I returned to harbour and got a medal!!

After a little break I decided to come back to silent hunting and noticed that TMO has a 1.70beta version now. Is RSRDC compatible or should we wait for a new release?

I'm useing up to date RFB, appropriate RSRD version and patch, and RE mod. I seem to be experiencing problems with "SH4 has encountered a problem" message while patrolling near Ambon in Sep/43. The scenario is as follows: I approach from the West with the intentions of patrolling the mouth of Ambon. The shipping route from Java to Ambon is my objective (not a RSRD objective, but rather a stop along the way back to Fremantle).

As I near the mouth, a patrolling Destroyer is encountered ( A Minekaze I believe). I submerge to proceed, while keeping an eye on the DD. The DD finally detects me, from a seemingly long distance, possibly hearing me. I'm on "ahead 1/3, so my detection comes as a surprise. At any rate I begin to get pinged by the DD which drops DC. A close string of charges causes alot of damage, flooding and casualties.

Needless to say I was sinking. I sink to over 400', hear the groaning sounds of the hull crushing, screen goes black with looping sounds, and message appears.

It should be noted that I don't have the latest RSRD Hotfix installed yet, but since that deals with Truck, I fealt it didn't apply anyway. The sub is a Gato class haveing just received a conning tower upgrade and FF DG from the previous patrol. Any help/advice is appreciated. Thanks

Were you sure to install the apprpriate version of RSRD with RFB? I don't think there should be a problem if the versions are correct I never had a problem running the two togeather until today, with the post I submitted above.

I'll download it again... but i'm sure to have chosen the right file...

Btw i have a question: Even Using JSGME, when i download a mod which has patches as well as hotfixes or whatsoever...must i install them in sequence using JSGME or i can copy/paste/substitute the MOD files with those in the MOD's patches folders ?? This should save time and make things clearer in mod manager interface...

Am i wrong ??

I install via JSGME in the sequence that is recommended. Never had an issue.

Ok, I'm a bit confused.

Does the first point mean that we need to install the hotfix as well, or does it mean that the new patch includes the old hotfix?

EDIT: ah never mind. I see you updated the instructions in the first post.
