That was the other challenge, I don't want to build it "showroom" or like it just escaped a tank battle in a swamp, but like its driven by an owner/operator who still needs to pay the bills and haul freight.

Interest switched from A/C to armour, Tamiya was the way to go, several small scale, (can't remember scale size) their first released high detailed Tiger Mk1 kit, then Their R/C Leopard . Then the kids arrived, and models became a thing of the past, but I still marvel at guys skills these days and how things have progressed.

Great kits all but hella expensive. Then I started drooling at Armortek.

However I'm not yet a millionaire
Tamiya 1/35 just about built them all over the years.

You do realise the 1/35 military vehicles section is sixteen pages long?

In that case, take styrofoam and carve it to look like accumulated winter: massive accretions of snow and ice hangin' off the undersides; all in pure road crud grey. Or springtime:....With a fine pin or needle do the entire front in tiny red & black dots all together in a solid coat to represent the living 1/2" carpet of dead and dying mayflies(they hatch enmass every 7 years or so creating a living blizzard) from a night of drivin' I-40 through Arkansas; the windshield should reflect the wiper arks of blades trying to see through the mess! The flies are attracted to the headlights. The truck stops issued full buckets and long mops to deal with it at the pumps...a miserable task at 02:00 in a 20 hr workday. < I recall the codriver declined to do his turn at the mop task....and found is suitcase and a bus ticket back to truck HQ waiting at the pump. Tomato paste for the pizza chain's pizzas, in cans from CA, made it on to lower Manhattan w/o his mutinous ass! On a sleeper team, the 27 yearold lead driver is master and commander!

The frau is going to tidy up the garden today seeing as how it is unusually warmish and sunny.

I'll go into the beer emporium and do a bit sorting out regarding 'best before' dates.

Was that a good kit or did it require a lot of repair/fitment work?
Inquiring minds want to know.

I can help with that....

Still building props without let up. I made a Morta to go along with the Troglyte visor for my Mardi Gras costume and it's turned out to be popular. I'm working on one to add to the "Star Trek Original Series Set Tour" now.

I bought the model a few years back.

I haven't started on the airplane yet.

I have plan on building it as pro as possible. I have therefore bought a package of photo-etch to the model. Eduard's Big-Ed for this model was available anymore, so I had to buy them as single package.

At start I went through the parts of the model, this to see if any part would be missing or had got any damage.

Then I bought some paint to the models, brushes and other things, like decal fix.

The only thing I have done so far is glued the weapon together and painted them. Later I will add decal to these bombs, rockets and missiles

There are some more tools I need.

Reading some of the build thread on the internet, have showned me there are some minor adjustment who need to be taken care when building the model.

As in: don't sniff the cement/glue within the confines of your lockdown mancave!
I'm finally working on an old Revell VII U-boot model thats been glaring at me for a decade or so; as time is heavy on my hands in the Napa lockdown with 7 confirmed corona cases currently.

Tonight because of my rapidly dwindling stock of peppermint cordial I am going to experiment with what other mixer I can add to my rum, coke being the obvious alternative favourite prior to experimentation.
