Default [REQ] Red Triangel Mod

I'd like to recommend a "No Red Triangel and No Ship Sighted Message" mod for 1.5. Basicly I'm not an "alternative history" guy, but if I just could get rid of those two most annoying things I might give a try for a stock 1.5, as there is some interesting features included.

For the red triangles, take the game off of auto targeting.

For the ship sighted message, I think the game needs that to tell the sub and your AI crew that there is something else out there.

I'm not 100% sure about the second one.

Edit: In case you haven't noticed, you posted this thread 3 times.

Thanks Orange! Can't understand how I forgot that!
And what becomes to ship sighted messages, I meant only those you'll get when you are using the scope, of course. I think the game doesen't need the message.

They stay no matter how you target. I'm not sure wether the game needs them, but I sure find them useful. Why do you want to get rid of them? Is it because you only want to know about the ships you see yourself? You can turn off map updates so you can't see other ships on the map, if that is something you don't want either.

Hi!

I have taken care of this. Thanks!

Thanks, Pablo. I think I run into some comm problems.

To Orange: I would like to get rid of the messages as usually there is only one scope up at time and if you are using it yourself, who you think is the guy passing these messages about sightings? God?

Germans were the master race right? Maybe they had X-ray vision.

Anyway, I see why you would want to get rid of them, but I sure don't know how to.

Hello Orange!

Yep. I gave a try for lurker's OM 705 and I think lurker has done more than a great job with the mod. Plus sighting messages it's also weird how the torpedo data panel auto ID nearby ships. Where do you need a rec. manual if the system do it for you already? Binocular's red/yellow crosshair is also one thing to get rid of fast. But maybe there is already something to use with OM to fix these things. Go back from periscope view to CT wouldn't be bad at all, too.
