All the files needed in those areas are in the optional mods folder already.
Enable the optional mods with JSGME then Commander does not need
those files.

The flotilla is the Med skins for Aircraft
The U-boat is the playerVIIC/41

If We find this is a problem,
I can always redo things.

And now I've just reinstalled SH3 and am taking my Type II out for a rip in '39.

Congrats and thanks for all your hard work, guys and gals.

Thanks privateer.
One thing though, it could be just me but only the Cfg folder is installed, no Flotilla or U-boat folder is extracted?
If you are using SH3Cmdr, then it is best to manually move the optional mods out of JSGME and directly into SH3Cmdr.

Move the skins mod to "\SH3 Commander\Flotilla\907\" and the VIIC/41 U-boat mod to "\SH3 Commander\U-boat\VIIC41". Just from the data folder on (ie "\SH3 Commander\Flotilla\907\data\etc").

Then you can simply forget about the mods and let SH3Cmdr worry about when to apply them - if you have the tools, you might as well get the best out of them.

Hello GWX3-Team,

first: Thank you for your great job and the time you spent for it.

currently I try to adapt racerboys exhaust smoke mods to GWX3. because of that I had to analyse with S3D, which changes you applied to the .val files of the submarines.

during my analysis I found one oddity in NSS_Uboat9c.val:

37: FastParticleGenerator
BitmapParticles[0]
Creation/Rate = 2,522337E-42

For other Submarines, this value is set to 300 or 1000 or similar....

Did that happen by intention or accidently?

greetings,
h.sie

I thought the polygon problem had been solved with this latest ver of GWX. Do I need to install OLC`s mod?

You're confusing two different problems. The problem shown in your screen is the old ship wake glitch - nothing to do with the environment, and not what KL was talking about when he said "polygon problem" (although his screenshot does confuse things somewhat because it actually shows both glitches).

Only one modder has ever claimed to have fixed the ship wake glitch, and when I tested that fix it didn't work for me... so there's no fix AFAIK.

Errm, OLC... the first post on the GWX 3.0 release thread you refer to has the "before" problem shown with the first screenshot...
