Default A night I didn't get a chance to remember....

Cant believe I missed this... one of my favourite maritime movies "A Night to Remember" by far the best movie on the sinking of Titanic, has recently been remastered and was presented by one of the original actors as part of the Glasgow Film festival. Unfortunately I didn't find out about it till the next day, grrr!

Oh well at least the remastered edition is due on bluray next month followed by the airing of the new 4 part itv series Titanic by Julian Fellowes ( ) and the 12 hour BBC Drama Titanic Blood & Steel. Hopefully they will match the standard set by "A Night to Remember" and not be as soapy as James Cameron's "Titanic".

You can read about the film festival event and John Cairney's experiences on set here

Update-- John also has recorded a short video about the filming on his site
