Would PE4 be considered a supermod that these ships are incompatible with? I was able to use the Arleigh Burke with PE4, but don't see the Iowas or Lexington as playable options.

That's what I figured... hmm... ah, I figured it out. I threw the folders into the mods folder and tried to install with the mod enabler, but didn't think to look into the folder and pull out the actual mod file itself and install that one. My mistake!

For those of you having trouble with the H39's 15cm battery, download karle94's H39 v2.2 go to Data\Library\ShipParts inside v2.2 rename guns.dat, .sim, and .zon to gunsH39.dat, .sim and, zon respectively.
Then copy and, replace those files into the same directory inside v2.3 and that should get your guns firing |

I`m back at it with the WWII classics! Now bringing the KGV and the Lion.
For the first time in Silent Hunter history (that I know off) we have an anatomicly correct KGV. I originally planned to use the stock KGV weaponry but those are crap. Wron size and wrong shape. I nicked the 14 inch guns from one of those I found on a KGV from 3D workshop: KGVs bigger brother, the Lion class: Making that transom stern was a long and hard process.

Not too poke a stick in your eye, have you considered a pilot house for these nice pieces of work like the ones in sh3 surface ships, I'm all about the realism.

I have decided to bring back an old classic; the Richelieu. New 3D model and weapons.
Here`s a new feature for all ships carrying the quad Bofors 40mm, the missing gun shield:

Karl - do you want to consider combining your work with the unfinished TSWSM ? I have the last / latest work TSWSM did (as far as I know) and we had much finished, but much to do. We lacked someone able to sort out textures, plus we had some very considerable gameplay challenges.
The last work I did was to make the mod compatible with Ops Monsoon - so that we didn't have to write a whole bunch of European theatre stuff that OM had already added. If you are interested, let me know. I'll try and work out exactly where we got to in terms of development. If I remember correctly I was having issues with custom damage model and not being able to repair or more importantly pump out compartments after repair. In terms of some comments you made higher up in your thread, I'd already taken care of bigger gun muzzle flashes / smoke and also much louder firing sounds. Also had very realistic radar ranges and had added realistic (working, not graphical) models of the major allied & German radars. |
