Power Supply Question
Hi there,
I bought this about a month ago Intel Duo Core E6750 @2.66ghz 2GB DDR2 SDRAM MSI NX8800GT 512 DDR3 500Gig HD Combi DVD/CD-R NOX 600 Watt supply now last friday It suddenly happend that my PC shut off when browsing the web. just off ...and when I pressed the power button nothing happend. I have to go to the back of the computer case and switch off and on the switch near the plug to get it booted up again, thought it could happen only today it happend again...is this my PSU that seems to be faulty? it could be a broken button. can you turn it back on, do the fans try to start at all? Did you smell smoke lol?

No smoke,
yes the button works...as soon I switch off and on the button on the back the power kicks back in, and if I then presh the power button he starts again. weird thought, as now it runs fine.... when it shuts itself On I had it running about 15 minutes...now I have it running for more then a hour. also it happend friday, saturday it didnt happen at all. Try taking the side of your case, and make sure the cpu fan is working properly. If that damn thing sticks now and again that will shut the pc down. Monitor it for a while. I know the system is new but check for dust and crap around the cpu fan m8.

Also, make sure the cpu heat sink hasn't become loosened during cleaning etc.
