Default GWX Gold Edit. Ship I.D/renown problem.

Can someone please advise me regarding a issue in the GWX 3.0 Gold. The problem being that when any ship is sunk ( meaning any enemy ship), it is shown on the map in green as being a neutral/friendly ship sunk. When I return to port I then lose my renowne points for sinking those ships. Anyone with a simple solution to fixing this would be appreciated

The war doesn't start until Sept, 1939; Sinking anything before that is a no no; and even then, you have to be careful as not all nations joined until later.

WELCOME ABOARD!

Yes indeed, GWX starts your career a month before the war does. This gives you time to get the feel of things as well as be on station already when the war begins. They sent 14 u-boats out to the Atlantic on August 19 for just that reason.

I start my first patrol and immediately end it, then use SH3 Commander to set my days in base to 18, and then leave on the 19th for the beginning of the war. Works every time.
