1.1 issue

I installed PA on my laptop after donating to the Onkel. Worked fine. After I installed the 1.1 patch, it wont load up. Whats the problem?

Try installing SH2 again, then patching it, then installing PA. I seem to recall the order is important.

I have all, or most, of the patches here:

DOWNLOADS

but deleted the rain mod as it was being reported as "bugged". There are one or two other files in there not related though.

There is an order to install, its been so long though. I do have a list but in unknown location. My working version does have bugs though, like stuttering sound and time speed reverts sometimes back to 1 and will not stay on 2048.

Also check that the install path is correct if it comes with an autoexecutable....sometimes it gets installed in a "Pacific Aces" inside the main "Pacific Aces" folder

Hi Red Devil,
I was wondering if you have room for the 1.1 patch? It.s 49.2 megs. I don't have the room , if i did I would post it. I don't think no one has it? & if it became avaible I think that would be all the mods for pac & it would live on forever.

According to the readme file that came with my Subsim Super CD, installation goes as follows:
1. clean install of SH2
2. Rename the folder to Pacific Aces
3. Install official 1.1 patch from Ubisoft
4. optional install of Vicker's mod(s) - fireball and/or Oil slick
5. install Subsim 1024 res mod (supposedly already part of the PA package)
6. optional install of Projek Messerwetzer
7. install PA mod, pointing to your Pacific Aces folder

I had the same problems with stuttering sound and TC issues that Red Devil did. Re-installation did not correct the problem.

It got so annoying, I finally deleted PA entirely.

it use to stutter for me to but i found out it was due to ac3filter which i patch it & the stuttering stop, tc does drop down to 0 always after diving but only for about a second or two & finally builds back up.
