I know this was brought up way back, but did someone figure out how to make the periscope raise/lower sound play while in the conning tower view? Sometimes I like to go up into the CT and click on the scope. It raises or lowers with no sound. The sound only plays when you're actually in the scope view. It would add to the immersion IMO if it worked the other way as well.

As a side note, here's alittle something I came across. I know most of us have probrably seen it, but here it is anyway. Some cool archival footage, with some Hollywood mixed in

That was the case in SH3 as well, and never fixed. I finally removed the sound so it doesn't play in the periscope view either.

Thanks Steve. It's a shame nothing could be done about it though

It's a bit of an immersion killer for me, but I'll live.

I agree, but on the other hand I don't know if they could hear the motor at all, so I don't mind not having it in the p-view either.
