sensor dialog dw edit
hey gents !
can you tell me how to adjust sensivity in passive sonars at dw edit? especially- what are the "nrd" numbers in the acoustic sensors section of the mentioned sensor dialog at dw edit? thanks very much ! |

nrd I believe is noice reduction. The lower the no. ie -12 distortion is minimal below 12 kts.

The greater the magnitude of Nrd, the more sensitive the passive sonar.
