Not great. Total air losses are approximately 10-1 in the Germans' favour, and air combat losses are about 8-1. Approximately half of my 5,700 losses were caught on the ground and destroyed, mostly at the start of the invasion. I had two Front-level Air Commanders shot for incompetence so far, and pilots are Lolwaffling well over a hundred aircraft every week in training alone (thankfully most of these are damaged rather than destroyed).
Intel says that on the German side the Bf 109F-2 and Ju 88 took the brunt of the losses. Surprisingly enough, they only lost 27 Stukas. On my side, the I-153 and I-16 account for most destroyed aircraft (War Thunder lied to me), though more modern aircraft like the MiG-3 have also taken severe casualties.

September 3rd, 1941 ![]() Forces of the Red Army's Southern Front have successfully completed the annihilation of two fascist armies in Bessarabia. Colonel-General Yakov Cherevichenko, commander of the Southern Front, and Major-General Iosif Khorun, leader of the 9th Army in the operation, have been awarded the Gold Star by Comrade Stalin for their accomplishments. In other news, several divisions of the Moscow People's Militia have been deployed into combat for the first time, leading the charge in a highly successful attack against German mechanized formations in the Smolensk area. Northern Front: Finnish troops have reached their 1939 borders in the Karelian Isthmus. They're considered unlikely to attempt to take Leningrad without German assistance, so defence of this front has been left to the Leningrad People's Militia. The 23rd Army has been withdrawn and sent to assist the Northwestern Front. Finnish advance north of Lake Ladoga has been temporarily halted because of mud. ![]() Northwestern Front: The Germans are still focusing their efforts on re-opening the supply corridor to Pskov, so we turned east and launched a full-scale assault on the enemy's right flank. Multiple German formations have been driven back with heavy casualties and Soviet troops are on the outskirts of Pskov. The 8th Army is holding open a large breach in the German defensive line around the town of Abrene, but we unfortunately lack the mobile reserves to make use of it. ![]() In the notable battle of the week, the German 12th Infantry Division was attacked and defeated northwest of Deriglavozo by troops under Major-General Vladimir Vostrukhov for the loss of not a single Soviet soldier. Western Front: Stalemate continues. The Germans made another push in the south, where they made limited advances, and at the vicinity of Mogilev itself, where they did not. In the north, the Germans made a minor retreat from the easternmost positions of the Rudnya salient between Vitebsk and Smolensk, so we helped them with that by launching several successful attacks. The Germans made more limited advances farther west, in the direction of Vitebsk, but our front there has not been breached. ![]() Southwestern Front: I declared victory after the annihilation battle at Proskurov but that has turned out to be premature. German forces blew open the flanks of the 38th Army and all the remaining units of Panzer Group 1 exploited as far as possible. The entire 38th Army has been isolated in the north, while Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler and the 11th Panzer Division managed to advance southeast to a distance of well over 100 miles, capturing Vinnitsa without opposition. In addition, German units backed up by Romanian cavalry are attempting to break through our left flank, held by the Southern Front's 18th Army. As a result, our entire line has been compromised. Again. I have decided to stand and fight rather than evacuate the Proskurov area, which will surrender the initiative and far too much territory to my liking. The primary problem is that we lack uncommitted reserves to contain the German breakthrough, so I've sent in everyone that could be railroaded in to form some kind of line, which amounted to about 12 understrength divisions hastily organized as the 28th and 30th Armies. The 3rd, 6th and 26th Armies were committed into a full-scale attack against the base of the German breakthrough. This has succeeded, barely, and we've managed to restore contact with the 38th Army for the time being. At least it appears that the Germans' losses in the previous week have taken a toll on them. Exploiting German formations have been broken up into regiments to cover a larger area, and they seem to be stretched even more thinly than we are. ![]() Meanwhile, the remaining units of the 5th Army have made it back to friendly lines. The forces now present in the Pripyat Marshes should be sufficient in preventing another German breakthrough in that area. Southern Front: The fall of Kishinev marked the culmination of the Southern Front's offensive efforts in Bessarabia, trapping all Axis forces south of the city in an encirclement. Lacking in mobility and heavily engaged on all sides, the Axis are now on the receiving end of what they did to us in June. The 40th Army launched an all-out assault on the pocket and Axis positions quickly collapsed. By my estimation, the Romanian Fourth Army has been effectively destroyed, while the German Eleventh Army lost nearly all of its combat strength. Surrendered units include three German and four Romanian infantry divisions, in addition to three more Romanian brigades. The total number of prisoners taken is well over 100,000. The German 170th Infantry Division managed to withstand several attacks by Red Army units, but it is likely a matter of time before it is forced to surrender as well. With the Kishinev pocket destroyed, the breach in the Axis lines widened to over 100 miles. The 9th Army has advanced 50 miles into Romania, capturing the cities of Galati and Braila with no opposition. Rail lines in Bessarabia are completely destroyed and we have no easy way to repair them, though, so we are unfortunately starting to outrun our supply lines. Bombers have been put to use in airdropping supplies to leading units, which seems to be a much more effective use of them than trying to bomb the enemy, but whether this can be viable all the way to Bucharest remains to be seen. ![]() Overall Situation: And they said cavalry was outdated. ![]() ![]() ![]()

Looks like the southern front is going pretty historically, I think you'd probably be better off retreating and consolidating, if he does manage to pocket your armies there you're going to lose a lot of forces in one swoop.
Of course, he might lack the strength to go through with the manoeuvre, but you also lack the strength to repel it properly. Since, though, this is the Soviet Union it probably wouldn't be that historical to let your forces retreat to a better line. Not one step back and all that. The other fronts look good though, particularly the center, that seems to be going much better than in history, from what I recall of Barbarossa. I'm not entirely surprised though, I still have nightmares from facing you in Western Russia/Eastern Poland...watching my lovely defensive line get shredded before the concrete was even dry. ![]() Be interesting to see how you can exploit the offensive into Romania, does WITE model the whole area as one long front or do you switch between individual fronts? If the forces in Romania do well enough they could turn north and threaten the German push to Kiev. Here's a comparison map that's dated around the time of this update: ![]() |

Go directly to Gulag. Do not pass go. Do not collect 200 rubles.
The situation on the Southwestern Front's sector is pretty dire, admittedly. If they manage to encircle and destroy the armies around Proskurov it'll be an even greater disaster than the Bialystok pocket. I considered pulling back to a new position but that looks pretty unfeasible. Most of my units don't have much mobility at the moment and functional rail lines are in short supply, so assembling a new defensive line will take a while. Meanwhile, the Germans could go on the offensive again almost immediately, and when they break through I'll just have to pull back again. They'll be all over Kiev before the month is out. For now, I decided to bet on the Germans not being able to follow through on this operation. They've suffered pretty serious losses and they've been in constant combat for quite a while now, so I'm hoping that lack of reserves and lack of fuel will stop them in their tracks long enough for me to bring up some proper reinforcements. If I can hold on for a few more weeks then the mud season should effectively end the German offensive. Quote:

As for the gap in the German lines, reconnaissance indicated there's not much there, but most of that information is a bit outdated, since I haven't flown many reconnaissance flights in the area in the last turn. There might be a few infantry divisions scattered around, but I doubt there's anything significant. If they had anything there they'd have already thrown it at Pskov so they could resume their advance on Leningrad. If it is some kind of bait then they'll have to be disappointed because I don't have any reserves in place to take it at the moment.

Soviet Miscellaneous 44 There's more mud on the front, particularly in the south. This has unfortunately effected our operations more than the Germans' this time. Leningrad Front: It has been determined by Stavka that a new name for this formation is absolutely necessary for the war effort. Meanwhile, Finland seems to have halted its attacks this week, probably because their supply lines are overextended. ![]() Northwestern Front: The gap in the German lines has been plugged by the enemy's 21st Infantry Division as well as a couple of new formations, the 339th and 707th Static Divisions. These must be typical fascist lies since they obviously got there somehow. The 48th Army has successfully assaulted and retaken Pskov from the German 123rd Infantry Division. Further to the south, we've managed to isolate the Totenkopf SS Motorized Division and three other German infantry divisions, but they've managed to withstand all of our attacks. Similarly, the Polizei SS and 86th Infantry Divisions are besieged by our units northeast of Limbazi, near the Gulf of Riga, but mud has prevented us from being able to attack and destroy them. Unfortunately, despite our reinforcement by the Leningrad Front's 23rd Army, the Germans have managed to reopen the supply corridor to several of their other units. ![]() Western Front: Our attacks have managed to reduce the Rudnya salient by a further 20 miles. Rudnya itself has been recaptured in the process, so I'll have to come up with a new name for this section of the front. In the south, Panzer Group 2 and its supporting units have reached the Sozh river, expanding their bridgehead by a considerable amount. We've mounted our usual counterattacks but we haven't really been able to do much to dislodge them. German units continued to attack Mogilev, which has long since turned into rubble from months of constant combat, but, as always, they've made no progress whatsoever. ![]() Southwestern Front: It appears that my estimates were correct. The German mechanized formations are seemingly immobilized by lack of fuel. As a result, with the exception of a few local attacks, their offensive has largely ground to a halt. Thanks to that, our line is now a bit more organized than the ad-hoc defense we put up last week, and we've isolated the German Panzer Group in four separate pockets. Unfortunately our counter-offensive efforts have been sabotaged by mud, so they'll likely re-open the lines of communication to some of them soon, but I doubt they're going anywhere for a while. ![]() Southern Front: The German 170th Infantry Division was attacked and destroyed by the 9th Army, completing the annihilation of Axis forces in this sector. Unfortunately, muddy conditions have significantly slowed down our exploitation of the breach in the enemy lines, so we haven't made much progress either in Romania or in turning the Axis flank in the north. Despite this, our leading units are now little over 100 miles from Bucharest. ![]() Overall Situation: I'm not particularly pleased with the German advance in some areas but the situation seems stable at the moment. ![]() ![]()

September 17th, 1941 ![]() Red Army offensive operations in the northern and southern sectors of the front have been greatly successful. The recent recapture of Pskov and Vinnitsa have cost the fascist armies dearly both in manpower and materials. Fascist forces on the Dniester are on the verge of collapse thanks to the rapid exploitation of our glorious victory at the Battle of Kishinev, and Red Army units continue to make rapid progress towards strategic objectives in Romania. come to my attention that vast amounts of support units and equipment which should have been at the front directly contributing to the killing of Germans have made their way to various Military District HQs which have little to do with combat operations. These include such trivial elements as a large percentage of our heavy artillery, sapper regiments and railroad construction brigades. Needless to say, the people responsible will be shot. Leningrad Front: Finland resumed attacks north of Lake Ladoga but made little progress through the marshy terrain. ![]() Northwestern Front: The German army launched a counterattack at Pskov. Our units managed to withstand three assaults, but the city eventually fell to the 6th Panzer Division. Further enemy attacks have been launched in other areas, successfully re-opening communication lines to their various trapped units. This has taken up most of the enemy's strength in the area, however, freeing us to launch an immediate counter-counteroffensive. The 23rd Army in the north and the 8th Army in the south attacked both sides of the Pskov corridor and managed to link up at the center after fighting through the German 21st and 132nd Infantry Divisions, completely encircling German units around Pskov once again. The Totenkopf SS Motorized Division has been attacked near Ostrov and routed in disarray. Finally, a three-pronged assault was mounted on Pskov by the 32nd and 48th Armies with nearly 100,000 troops, driving the defending 6th Panzer Division out of the city once more with the loss of 44 of its tanks. The 27th Army attempted to resume the encirclement of the Polizei SS and 86th Infantry Divisions but its attack on Limbazi bogged down with heavy casualties. ![]() Western Front: German forces in the former Rudnya salient have switched direction and lunged at Vitebsk. They've arrived at the eastern outskirts of the city before our counterattack threw them back. We haven't managed to evict them from all of their gains, however, so their units will likely be able to resume the attack again soon. In the south, the Germans continued their offensive by advancing 30 miles to the east, very nearly capturing the important railway junction at Krichev. The 13th and 33rd Armies launched our customary offensive to cut off their units, managing to drive back the German 167th Infantry Division and Großdeutschland Motorized Regiment, but they were halted by the 45th Infantry Division before managing to complete the encirclement (in my opinion, this was clearly the result of the 100th Flammpanzer Battalion's participation in the battle). Three more attacks were mounted on the salient by various units to the east but only one succeeded, dislodging the 10th Motorized Division from the front of the German advance. It remains to be seen how this situation develops. ![]() Southwestern Front: German mechanized formations are still bogged down, so I've given the order to launch a large-scale counteroffensive aimed at destroying the threat to Kiev. 2/11th Panzer Division was driven out of Vinnitsa by Red Army units. It was pursued and driven into a corner in the woods northwest of the city along with 1/11th Panzer Division and 3/Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler. All three regiments were promptly attacked and destroyed, resulting in the loss of about 11,000 German troops and 100 AFVs. Further to the north, the remaining two regiments of Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler were assaulted and driven back over 30 miles, cutting the Axis salient in half. In the west, we've managed to cut off the base of the salient again, despite Axis attempts to open a supply route to their units and a few failed attacks against German infantry positions. This should ensure our ability to retain the initiative for the next few weeks. As a result of these actions, the corridor to our units in Proskurov has doubled in width and the German positions have been reduced considerably. ![]() Southern Front: Clear weather has allowed our units to resume exploitation at a rapid pace. The Romanian and German stragglers from the Dniester front and the group that attempted to outflank Proskurov have both been encircled by a combination of infantry, cavalry and mechanized units. Most of the Romanian and German air bases and supply caches in Moldavia have also been overrun during the advance. Our units are now in a position to seriously threaten the German right flank. ![]() In Romania, full-scale pursuit continues as the 9th Army moves its operations deeper into the country. We are now 50 miles from Bucharest and 40 from Constanta with no opposition yet in sight. ![]() Overall Situation: The situation on the Western Front is somewhat worrying, but the rest is doing better than average for now. ![]() ![]() Our air forces have been becoming somewhat less incompetent lately, probably thanks to their commanders being shot. The disparity in kill ratios has dropped as a result. ![]()

September 24th, 1941 ![]() A decisive defeat has been inflicted on the German army at the Battle of Pskov, where no less than four mechanized divisions and their supporting units have surrendered to the Red Army. Similar victories have been achieved by units of the Southwestern Front at the Vinnitsa-Zhitomir Strategic Offensive Operation, and remaining fascist forces have been cleared out of Bessarabia. Reports from Red Army command confirm that over 150,000 prisoners have been taken across the front over the previous week. In other news, Red Army units have taken the major Romanian industrial city of Ploesti and reached Bucharest after several weeks of constant advance. Soviet Attrition 69732 Soviet Surrender 0 Soviet Miscellaneous 44 Leningrad Front: The 7th Independent Army had to evacuate its position and retreat to a new line south of Lake Suojarvi thanks to Finnish advances overstretching the front. Several divisions have been sent to reinforce this sector to prevent a breakthrough, but it'll be a while before they arrive. ![]() Northwestern Front: With three Soviet cavalry divisions dug into Pskov and two armies blocking the lines of communications to units south of the city, Red Army units have finally gotten into position to inflict a decisive defeat on Axis forces. The 32nd Army, supported by elements of the 48th Army, launched a major assault against Axis formations trapped on the railway line northeast of Pskov. Faced with superior numbers and low on supplies and fuel, Axis forces surrendered en masse. The destroyed units include the 1st and 8th Panzer Divisions, the 3rd and 36th Motorized Divisions and the 269th Infantry Division. Over 55,000 German prisoners have been captured, along with nearly 500 guns and 230 AFVs. To the south, the 8th and 23rd Armies pressed the attack against the corridor, advancing towards the west while defeating three German infantry divisions. As a result, the remaining German formations near Pskov are now stranded 30 miles from the nearest friendly unit and thoroughly encircled. As far as I can tell, Panzer Group 4 has been effectively destroyed. ![]() Western Front: The Germans have decided to evacuate both Panzer Groups from their salients north and south of Mogilev and shift the direction of their offensive to the south. German units led by XIII and XXXXVI Panzer Corps assaulted the weaker part of our line west of the Sozh river and advanced thirty miles, capturing Gomel. A large column of unidentified forces have been spotted advancing into this area. These are almost certainly units of Panzer Group 3 which have been sent south from the vicinity of Vitebsk. Reinforcements have been deployed south and east of Gomel under the 20th and 43rd Army to contain the breach, but none of our units were in position to launch a serious counterattack. The Moscow People's Militia of the 49th Army has also been redeployed from the northern flank to act as a reserve should the Axis break through again. ![]() Southwestern Front: Our counteroffensive continued with an attack on the isolated German forces west of Zhitomir, destroying the massively under-strength 9th Panzer Division, the 16th Motorized Division and all three regiments of the 60th Motorized Division. Other successful attacks have been launched in an attempt to keep the pressure up on the Axis line in other places. Most notably, the 99th Jager Division was driven out of its entrenched positions after five large bombing raids; as far as I can tell, this is the first successful offensive air operation undertaken by the VVS in the war. The remaining units of the 5th Army, supported by the Western Front's 21st Army, have exacted revenge on the Germans by isolating and destroying the 268th Infantry Division in the harsh terrain of the Pripyat Marshes. ![]() Southern Front: Four more Romanian infantry divisions have surrendered along with the German Army's 22nd Airlanding Division, which was attacked and destroyed in the town of Orgeev. Exploiting units of the 29th and 40th Armies have linked up with the 18th Army in the north, trapping even more Axis units along the banks of the Dniester. Chernovtsy has also been recaptured without opposition. ![]() 9th Army units in Romania have arrived at the outskirts of Bucharest, finding the city defended by the Romanian 4th Infantry Division. A siege of the city might be necessary before the Romanian capital falls. The 9th Cavalry Division has captured the city of Ploesti without opposition, which should be a serious blow to Axis oil production. The 60th Cavalry Division reached the Romanian-Bulgarian border in the south, while elements of the 2nd Cavalry Corps have crossed the Carpathians into Hungary. ![]() Overall Situation: Their replacements can't replenish losses of this magnitude. ![]() ![]() ![]()

![]() ![]() So tell us, is there any indication that tells you the size of the units you got trapped there in a Stalingrad fashion?

In the northwest there is a Panzer division and 7 infantry divisions, all of which (especially the former, the 6th Panzer Division, which was pretty seriously mauled in street fighting in Pskov) are probably under strength to some degree. Each German infantry division seems to consist of about 15,000 men so the whole thing probably has about 100,000 troops and between 200 and 300 AFVs. In the south there are 3 German infantry divisions, 2 Romanian infantry divisions, a Romanian armoured division and 2 Romanian cavalry brigades which are pretty thoroughly trapped as well. I doubt the Axis will be able to break through to these forces. There are more units I have isolated around the map, most notably in the pocket in the southwest near Proskurov, but the Germans could rescue them pretty easily, so they're not in mortal danger at the moment.

September 25th, 1941 The people of Bulgaria have deposed the fascist-aligned government in Sofia. The new Bulgarian government has cut off all ties with the Axis and declared its neutrality in the Soviet-German conflict. We hope the remaining people of Europe will see this and act to free themselves from the shackles of fascism and the German lackeys oppressing them. barely managed to hold on to the front line after a Finnish attack with both sides suffering significant casualties. The 1st Light Rifle Brigade has been thrown into the line despite not being up to strength. Three more rifle divisions have arrived by train and are on the move to reinforce the 7th Independent Army. ![]() Northwestern Front: The remaining pocket south of Pskov has been assaulted by overwhelming force and obliterated. 8 divisions have surrendered, including the 6th Panzer Division, which was operating at less than half strength, as well as most or all of the German II and XXVIII Corps. German losses amount to some 90,000 men and just over 100 AFVs, compounding the disastrous losses they suffered the previous week. The Battle of Pskov is over. The German defeat has left their position precariously thin. Intelligence and reconnaissance have identified only 17 German divisions holding a line some 300 miles wide, stretching from the Daugava river to the Baltic sea. Units of the Northwestern Front and the Leningrad Front's 23rd Army have been sent through the gaps in the German line in an effort to isolate the overextended German positions from each other. This will hopefully allow us to achieve a strategic breakthrough in time for my planned general offensive. ![]() Western Front: The concentrated German mechanized formations struck east of Gomel, breaking through our hastily assembled line and advancing some 40 miles to the east. I've thrown our reserves at this position to contain the Germans, but their advance is not yet threatening anything important. The 20th and 43rd Armies attempted to retake Gomel from the Großdeutschland Motorized Regiment but failed to make headway into the city despite a manpower advantage of ten to one. Two more attacks have been launched at the German lines near Propoisk and Lepel and met similar fates. We did have success while contesting a couple of inconsequential positions, but for the most part our counteroffensive efforts in this sector have been a failure. In the Pripyat Marshes, the 21st Army was transferred to the command of the Bryansk Front, which should hopefully be able to take over operations between the Western and Southwestern Fronts. Several divisions have been sent north through the numerous gaps in the German line. The German 7th Infantry Division is isolated on the banks of the Pripyat river but has so far resisted our attacks. ![]() Southwestern Front: The Hungarian 1st Motorized Brigade has been hastily redeployed to oppose the advance of the Southern Front's armies coming in from Bessarabia. It took up positions in Chernovtsy but was quickly swept aside by the 40th Army, which advanced to a position 40 miles south of Tarnopol and, together with the 89th Tank Brigade, which has been sent through the Axis lines west of Proskurov, completed a limited isolation of Axis positions on the Zbruch river. In the north, the 3rd Army achieved a breakthrough east of Rovno. Our cavalry units managed to advance 30 miles to the south and link up with the 37th Army and the 6th Cavalry Corps, which have been struggling to dismantle the German lines north of Proskurov. As a result, German units around Shepetovka have also been isolated. Meanwhile, the pocket around the Dniester has been completely reduced, resulting in 80,000 more Romanian and German prisoners captured. Unless the Germans bring in reinforcements from somewhere, I doubt they have enough forces to reverse the situation on this flank. ![]() Southern Front: 9th Army cavalry units have isolated Bucharest while the army's remaining forces launched an attack on the city from the east. The fortifications surrounding the city have been reduced, but the Romanian 4th Infantry Division managed to repulse the assault. Constanta has been captured without a fight, eliminating the last Axis-held outpost on the Black Sea coast, but the city's port facilities have unfortunately been sabotaged. Further north, the 2nd Cavalry Corps clashed with a Hungarian border guard brigade in the Carpathians and dislodged it from its position. ![]() Overall Situation: The German positions seems to be collapsing much sooner than I expected. The mud season should be starting any time now. If the situation remains unchanged through it we should be able to launch a decisive offensive in the winter. ![]() ![]() ![]()

October 8th, 1941 ![]() After a two-week long siege, Red Army units have occupied the Romanian capital of Bucharest. Approximately half of the defending formation, identified as the Romanian 4th Infantry Division, managed to escape the city in order, but 9th Army command has assured us that it cannot threaten Red Army operations in Romania. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the fascist regime of Ion Antonescu has been toppled by a coup d'état led by Romanian King Michael and that the new government is willing to surrender to the Soviet Union. Leningrad Front: Minor Finnish gains as their offensive continued across the northern part of the front. Using its reinforcements, the 7th Independent Army managed to attack and defeat the 1st Jäger Brigade in the first successful offensive action undertaken by the Red Army against the Finns since the start of this war, but that's unlikely to have much operational significance. ![]() Northwestern Front: The German lines utterly collapsed under the weight of our numerical superiority. Five more of their divisions have been destroyed in action across the front. If intelligence is to be believed, there are only two remaining German formations north of the Daugava with their lines of communications open. A 50-mile wide breakthrough has been achieved north of Lake Lubanas, and the tank brigades of the Kalinin Front have been moved into position to begin the drive into the rear of the German front. ![]() Western and Bryansk Fronts: The Germans were unable or unwilling to continue their push past Gomel, so the Western Front's sector has been mostly static. We've launched a large scale attack on the southern part of the front, allowing us to achieve a limited isolation of several German divisions. Another attempt to recapture Gomel has failed thanks to the annoyingly effective defence of the Großdeutschland Motorized Regiment. Several of our cavalry divisions managed to infiltrate behind the German position south of Mogilev, while units of the Bryanks Front have started pushing north through gaps in the German line at the Pripyat Marshes. These units are rather vulnerable, but they should be able to prevent the Germans from making a quick retreat with their mobile units and endangering our offensive operations elsewhere. ![]() Southwestern Front: The twin breakthroughs at Chernovtsy and east of Rovno allowed us to exploit massed forces towards the rear of the German position. Southern Front cavalry units met with the 3rd Army's 45th and 55th Cavalry Divisions west of Tarnopol, thoroughly cutting off all remaining Axis forces in the area in a massive double envelopment. Multiple armies launched an offensive into the pocket north of Proskurov and nearly completely reduced it, leaving only six German units intact. The Axis line south of the Pripyat Marshes has all but ceased to exist. ![]() Southern Front: The 9th Army launched another assault at Bucharest. With their fortifications rendered ineffective in the previous attack, the Romanians were quickly overrun and the Romanian capital fell into our hands. Thanks to an incomplete encirclement of the city, the Romanian 4th Infantry Division escaped southwards with about two-thirds of its men, but they shouldn't be able to threaten us much. ![]() Overall Situation: It's a good thing we have the proper facilities to take them all prisoner. ![]() ![]() ![]()
