It is all about optics. At the end of the day, it never should have come to a riot like it did. Many say it is fueled by Trump. Many say it is fueled by the media, celebrities and the like. The finger pointing is coming from both sides. In reality, all should be pointing their fingers at themselves.

I'm not worried about you but I will debate your opinions if I disagree with them. I've said several times I'm not against everything Trump has done, or tried to do, but I think he is the wrong man for the job and he's proven that to me regularly.

Hell, I would rather have Hillary Clinton run again and I would vote for her then. Even though she kills people.

I understand how you feel. I think it's ok to express your opinion but let's not attack each other.

First of all, it's an internet forum, it's only an internet forum, so personal attacks will accomplish nothing. Second, you, me, we all cannot really know each other to a degree in text threads, and it's very possible to make a mistake and attack someone who you may actually get along with in real life, if you were sitting down together. Last, keep in mind the guy Joe is launching personal attacks on could be his doctor, or his nurse, or a policeman who keeps his neighborhood safe, or the mechanic who works on his brakes, etc. We all depend on each other, so let's argue and squabble but not get carried away.

If attacking people who one disagrees with is that important, then by all means go down to the bowling ally or convenience store with a sign and invite people to fight. (No, don't do that, really).

If our society crumbles to the point where we have to fight, then it won't happen in this thread.

PS: I actually live in the Philippines, don't come looking for me in Texas.

Now that’s a great scenario you brought up. We are in a life raft and it’s sinking.

The question I have is how did we get into this life raft?

And that’s why people are mad because they’re not getting answers.

They want an investigation simple as that.

If I have an issue with my taxes The IRS would have no problem with me coming in to go over it with them. Probably a bad idea.

And if I have an issue with a police report I can get it online or I can have it given to me at my local police station.

If I need answers I can get them from anywhere else in the world. I have questions about the election and no one wants to give me any answers or even look into it.

That makes people angry. And rightfully so.

People had questions about Trump and his affairs, what did they do? They investigated it. Simple as that.

I think we can all agree that the government in all of its processes, election or presidential official misconduct, should be investigated and investigated thoroughly.

And now we have a one-sided government, and I don’t care if you’re a democratic supporter or not, that is a very bad idea. The whole idea is to have checks and balances and now there’s none. And a lot can be damaged in four years. Worse than what Trump could’ve done.

"Pelosi about Trump: Must be prevented from pressing the atomic button"

In my friends bulletin I said that a President in USA does not have the authority to singlehanded order a nuklear attack on another country.

It's only NCA(National Command Authority )who has this authority. Trump is a member of this command and he has the right to say Make it so

Exactly. It's all political pandering. Besides Peacenik Trump isn't like that. Maybe Nancy is like that which is why I hope she never gets near the oval office but not Trump. He's what, like the first president since Jimmy Carter not to have started a new war with another country? Probably the first president since Nixon to have made major overseas troop reduction in the wars started by his predecessors too.
