The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance, Jens Stoltenberg, repeated the call to increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine, because the "turning point in the war" has come.

I think an internal power-struggle in Russia after Putin'S death indeed could turn out extrenmely nasty and become civil war in Russia.

Russia’s criminal aggression against Ukraine, which has been ongoing for almost a year, remains the most serious threat to international security and an unprecedented challenge to the international community since the Second World War.

The government of Estonia decided to provide military aid to Ukraine in the war with the Russian Federation in the amount of 113 million euros. The aid package will be a record, it will include howitzers, ammunition, artillery support vehicles, and grenade launchers.

Ukraine: Will Ramstein bring the Leopard-2 compromise?

The U.S. and almost all allies have decided to take a qualitative leap in arms deliveries - apparently including the German Leopard-2 tank.

Above all, the left wing of the chancellor's social democratic SPD party has been positioning itself for months against the delivery of battle tanks, while the coalition parties Bündnis 90/Die Grünen and the liberal FDP are calling for them.

The think tank IISS (International Institute for Strategic Studies) has been expecting Leopard 2 deliveries to Ukraine for some time. "It is increasingly likely that the Leopard 2 will be included in the Ukrainian inventory," the IISS wrote in mid-January, "but the impact on the battlefield will depend on the number of vehicles delivered." According to the report, a total of 100 Leopard 2s would be needed to give Ukraine a decisive advantage. At the same time, the new aid package for Ukraine includes other weapons that may be no less crucial for Ukraine. Among them is a missile that only came onto the arms market last fall.
