At the time this was created, the original company was long gone - or better said it had went into a fusion with other german car companies long ago.

So the car was not built by the original company, it is more like a hommage..

^ Yes! The Colani "Horch Mega Roadster" from 1996. His real german name being Lutz Kulani, he changed it for a more streamligned "designer" name

The company "Horch" built big, representative cars like Maybach or Mercedes at the time. Later there was a fusion between Audi, DKW, Horch and the Wanderer company. The founder of Audi also had the name "Horch" but was not allowed to use it because another company named Horch already existed, so they called it latin "Audi" for "horch!" or "listen!".
The four companies then merged and gave themselves the name "Auto Union AG", later just called "Audi".

Colani's ancestors had been producers of clothing, also for military purposes. The special coats and jackets of the german Kriegsmarine were usually called Kulanis (as you can also read in "Das Boot"), or sometimes Kolanis..

Colani created quite some car designs, but few were turned into real series in Europe, but he still is a star in Japan. He died in 2019..

This 'roadster' falls into a similar category as his "Aiglon" from 1976 .. Some photos of the Mega roadster:

I spent the evening til 0100 hrs looking at Horch based on the nekkid lady holding an 'H" on the hood but had only looked at the classic '30's, not the '90's...
