James Hornfischer wrote 'The Last Stand of the Tin Can Sailors' a narrative account of the Battle off Samar, perhaps the greatest upset in the history of naval warfare.

Hope they mention about her compaion, HMAS Perth, who also went down fighting (she used up all her ammo in the fight, so she kept firing by useing up her star shells, then practice rounds!)
