Those generals with Kim on parade days look kind of old

Kim's half brother is 65 and of course his sister could be a figure like Queen's sometimes become surrounded by generals that have the keys to launch,
but my uneducated guess is a revolt by the people for the people to have the same freedom's that South Korea have of media, internet, religion,
world travel, food gathering and food sharing becoming a thorn in China's side.

The idea of Kim's sister taking the reins is interesting, but I seem to recall there where stories about of her being even more of a hardliner than her brother; there's also the element of sexism: Asia, as a whole retains a tradition of male dominance in matters of control and command; if she takes over, it will be interesting to how the males in leadership positions, particularly the military, will tolerate or support being ruled/commanded by a woman...

If she can command enough support from the high ranking officers I doubt anyone will have any choice.

All those in the upper echelon must have mastered the art of sleeping with one eye open by now.

Is this going to be similar to the whole "Franco is dead.. no, wait... yes...maybe...um..." situation back in 1975? I remember all the parodies on SNL over those weeks where they would report on the 'developing' and 'continuing' death of the Generalissimo...

Now again I have to rely on my memory.

Some years after the revolt in Romania I saw a documentary

The revolt started when a very loved priest was arrested by the Romanian secret and feared police.
This is what I remember from this documentary on Danish tv-which was an English production.

Back to North Korea.

What is needed to get the people angry enough to revolt against the top politicians and their elite ?

"Trump while in answer said that he was close to Kim and added: "I think the report was incorrect."
When asked by a CNN reporter if he has had any contact with Kim he snapped and said: "CNN is fake news, don't talk to me."
