Does exactly what it says on the tin! Awesome mod!

Edit: I just played for a short while and it seems to have over-ridden the realism and gameplay related hardcoded fixes, unofficial patch v1.6b mod. I can no longer see the version number on the lower right of the start screen and I noticed that TC drops back to x1 when I receive a radio message. Also I got weird artifacts on the extended section of the screen, namely when in the radio message window if I move the cursor around in the empty space to the right it leaves a trace of the cursor.

Anyhoo, just wondered if anyone else had run into this?

Anyone managed to make this work with an HDMI cable? I know the 1st page says it doesn't but that's all I have so thought I'd ask, running an AMD HD7970 with win 7 64t on 24" Screen at 1080p currently, VIIb looks as long as a IXb.

Hy guys,

Long time away from SH3 now ... but it´s always on my hd. One of the best games IMHO!

I read some last posts, below some comments and replies:

1. Fraps works normally with this mod, i run the 3.47 version. All it´s features like movie capture, fps counter, etc, works ok.
2. HDMI cable/connection works ok too, just force the correct resolution (must be 1360x768 always into the game - default with this mod!) It works also ok (and very beautifull) on any LCD TV 1080p, with the correct ratio 16x9. Again , just make sure that the game is working at 1360x768; the 1080p, from hdmi, will not interfer. I run it sometimes at my room, on an 47" LG LCD LED 3D (with an 1080p HDMI connection) and it works just fine and as intend.
3. I have more than one pc/notebook, even on notebook it works ok, so it works for AMD and Nvidia cards without problems.

Cheers!

Rubini.

Great that you said it works, when you say force the correct resolution what do you mean?

Do I need to change my Desktop resolution to the same? Also do you have another D/L link available, I cannot use Mediafire at the moment

Thank you.

1440x900= 16x10, the mod was made for 16x9 ratio (1920x1080 or 1360x768 as an example). Anyway the mod must work always at 1360x768 (downsampling if you use on an HD TV 1920x1080 or any other major resolution).

In resume, you need to keep in mind two factors:
1. resolution will be always 1360x768 (even if you monitor have major resolution)
2. it was made by 16x9 ratio (so any other ratio can stay a bit stretched vertically).

Unfortunatly, the WS mode never works for me ! I've got the classical Windows message error after the GWX intro and the SH3 intro.

I desable in JSGME the mods that are in conflict with WS and the resolution of my screen is 1360x768 so I suspected the problem is about others parameters I choose in the Calalyst Control Center for my screen.

I don't how too take an image of my parameters in the Calatlyst Control Center so I cannot show you mine. If someone can show an image of his parameters (or explanations) in CCC perhaps I could see if it is the problem.

My system :

Windows XP 32 bits SP3
ATI radeon 3600 series AGP
Screen : IIyama prolite B2280HS LCD

I've change two minor things in Catalyst Control Panel and now I can play in 4:3 format without the WS mode. It's ok for me, so forget my last post.

Anyway, if someone has a quick and simple solution for my problem with WS mode, I'm still interested...

Hi, I'm still a bit confused (Sorry!):

1. What is the most recent version of this mod/fix;

2. Where can I get it;

3. What other fixes or graphic card settings are required?

AND

Will it work with the HW as stated in my signatur?

Thanks a bunch, Kapitän

Default can't find the readme-files

Quote:
Take Note:
- Alt+tab don't work if you run the game at same resolution of your monitor (well, in this case just for guys stucked on 1360x768)
- Works with both ATI and Nvidia
- you can easily port it to 1280x768(800) used by some laptops, just adjust carefully the positions listed on the readme txt for modders.
Hello guys,

the mod works really fine :-) but I use a resolution of 1280x768. When I want to play it correctly, I have to do some changes. But I can not find the readme where the description is in. And I just can't download the mod-archive again, Mediafire says an error.

Can pls someone send me the Readme-File for modders, which Rubini says in his Post (see quote above). Would be really great! Thank you!

Where can I download this mod other than the link provided? I tried and Norton Internet Security went nuts with several warnings and blocked the download.

When running at that resolution in game, 1360 x 768, I have noticed that when not playing SH3, my desk-top resolution is also the same as this, is this normal?

Sorry if this has already been asked.

Well, I just can't get this to work. I unzipped the file to the MOD folder (I assume that is correct...). After loading the MOD in JSGME and starting the game I get a CTD. I corrected the res values in the d3d9.ini file from 1360x768 to 1366x768 (I have an ACER V193HQL monitor with that resolution), then I still get a CTD, but wth a black screen. I use a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics card. Can any one tell me what I do wrong?
