Editing Post Title to Update - How? - Page 2

It does work with IE6, I´ve tried it.

Just by the way I have downloaded the update "WindowsXP-Windows2000-Script56-KB917344-x86-enu.exe" but haven't run it, I don't like updating unless I have to, also I have only installed SP1 as SP2 causes too many problems, that update is taylored mostly for the XP firewall (IMO - useless!), I use Zonealarm.

I mention this just incase editing the title requires SP2.

It´s a harmless update and it will probably fix the problem, so just install it.

The update has been put in & the Script test passes but still can't edit the post title, as a last try could you please tell me the steps in actually editing the title, the original thread is not very clear on this.

After a few double clicks there it highlights the text in white then if I move my cursor over the text it changes to blue but doesn't show the text cursor just the finger pointer, clicking again will just take me there!

Time to give up! As a moderator you may have editing rights that I don't, about the only thing I can think of.
