The enemy shadow my submarine ?!

Strange situation.

I detected 4 "warships" circling just opposite Tyne navel base.
First, I've tried to get near but they seemed to keep their distance from me ~>=12Km.

So I decided to head up NE.

Oddly, they also head NE, ~ parallel to my course.
I changed course several times, and they kept twisting parallel to my sub keeping the same ~>=12KM from me.

Now I am > 150Km from the place ware it all began, and they still shadow my submarine.

What should I make of all this?

Did anyone else experienced something similar?

Is it a bug in the game?
Is there a patch to fix that?

Save, reload and they will be on their way.
That, or line up a land mass and travel such that they run into a landmass as they shadow you.
