I went on vacation one time, but it was camping on a dead end road
with the lake right up to the tent and I went fishing with hardly anyone else around.

Fishing is a lot of fun if you do it to relax ...

YIPES! While enduring a three hour contract signing session at my dining table to finalize the 2 month-long remodeling of my bathrooms with my same contractor who redid the kitchen, I casually & innocently joked '' Hey! no attending open air concerts till the job is finished... I need U alive!"...Whoops: he suddenly got real serious and pulled out his smart phone :

....Of his brother George being pushed to safety by a heroic off duty nurse. The other brother Chris, who actually does most of the carpentry and painting at my abode, was also there and escaped unharmed as well.

Major kudos to the unarmed hotel guard, Jésus Campos, who was wounded in the thigh in a hail of 200 rounds through the closed door, but probably distracted the gunman's attention away from his harmful intent.

I saw that image on the news, wow! What a strange moment that must have been. Yes the security guard should get free everything for life in Vegas ... The shooter must have thought they were going to barge into the room right away and shot himself in the mouth with a small pistol he had re severed for that moment.
