Further fun Cab Calloway fact: Cab was featured in a couple of Betty Boop cartoons (I'm a big Betty fan), with his voice as a singer providing the songs and his dance moves being copied for the character in the cartoon he was giving voice to; by using rotoscope, a process where the filmed movements of a subject are traced over by animators, frame by frame, to produce a character's movements, Cab's slinky moves were translated to the Boop cartoons...
