That's great news, will this be "Sink the Hood" or an addon for ERT?

Thanks

It will be the original ERT with the addon.....Only I'll be able to sink Pioneer.

Not in the immediate plans. That is going to be reserved for ERT2. There is a SLIGHT possibility of some islands, but no promises. Minimal changes are being made, so as to be able to just get some sort of multiplayer out there for the customers. Multiplayer is what everyone has been chomping at the bit for, for so long anyway.

The really sweet stuff can come with ERT2.

Actually, the multiplayer is being made a part of the Hotel Da Volta add-on.

Hi there East and company. Long time no see.... life has gotten in the way...

Not trying to be difficult here, but I have to say at this point I am thoroughly confused as to what is offered/what exactly is coming/when/if/HDV/is it available now/will it be available/is HDV now out in May/ERT2...???? Who's on first?

I've read all the posts, and what I can find on the HDV site. Says 3.1% signup so far....I think this is the HDV addon which includes mission editor and file editors (which is what I'm most interested in). Well to me, 3.1% and holding indicates it will not see light of day in the $9.99 form. Now a Wall Street report is thrown in here about release....so if I can't understand it, being one who is familiar with the product and has followed it for lo all these years, methinks the casual user will not get any of this at all and move along without purchase....

Please somebody lay it all out.

Thanks.

TT

The Hotel Da Volta Add-On (as described in the website) was ready for release Dec 1. Response has been below expectations and below the pre-order release target. Taking a step back from it we recognized that the only add-on for Enigma that anyone was really interested in would be one that included multiplayer. We decided to pull back HDV and refactor it for multiplayer.

The announcement in the WSJ interview was...a surprise. We've been putting all the pieces together to announce it, update the sites, notifiy customers, etc. Until we get the changes implemented, anyone who orders HDV will get the multiplayer version of it for the $9.99. We haven't finalized the new price point for MP-HDV.

No ones credit card will be charged until we either hit the pre-order target or hit our "release it anyways" date.
