Default uboat info requested

i would like to know what equipt shown on the bridge when surfaced would be removed before submerging in real life.

im making a mod to have items fitting the above description be invisable while you are submerged

if you could please give me a list of what shouldnt be seen underwater i would do my best to make it happen.

thank you

The UZO was removed and taken below
I believe the guns were dismantled, but i will have to double check that.
the Biscay cross (radar reciever) was thrown down the hatch and stomped on by the watch crew

those are the most visable
other than the covers on the voice pipes

yea, that would be messy if you forgot to put on the covers.

(btw, theres a mistake in your sig.) Commander, U-221 (Typ VIIE) .

its a deliberate mistake
My U-221 is based on the Type VIIE, which had a pair of V-12 engines, providing higher output and a faster surface speed. even though the actually VIIE, if it was built, would have been exactly the same but deeper diving because the lightweight engines would be replaced by a stronger(heavier) hull. I negate the deeper diving part and focus on the engines

sorry WEBSTER, didnt mean to hijack the post

can anyone tell me where the biskay kruez is located in the files?

i cant find the damn thing anywhere.

i've already made the TBT and the UZO invisable underwater but i cant find the biscay cross

i found these which all seem to be early versions of the same type radar but no Biscay cross :

metox
naxos
gema
borkum

where these brought below as well?

could it be something new to the game added by op monsoon?

and what about the uboats search light, did it stay mounted or was it brought in until it needed to be used?
