I finally took the time to reupload my old "U-797" movie. Some people requested a higher quality version, since alot of stuff was hard to see and back when I uploaded the movie, Youtube didnt yet support HD.

Here it is:

My new movie has been through alot of shooting, reshooting, editing, reediting, and rereediting, but its finally coming together and I think I'll upload it tommorow, or maybe this night (night in Germany that is).
But i can say this much: I'ver never spend that much time in post production or even scene shooting for just 2 min^^

Took me a few days, but i hope it was worth it.
The movie shows a sub thats ascending and preparing for an attack.
Hope you like it.

I also uploaded a few images taken from the movie, If you want any picture from the movie in a specific resolution PM me (with timecode), otherwise i might not see the request.

Prefer the old one (Curse of the Deep Silent Hunter 5 movie )

better movie-shots,
better graphical interpretation of the main theme,
but the first 24 seconds are not that good - more a reminescent to a remote-controlled mini-sub.

Hi folks, I'm new to SH5 and this forum, though not new to SH as a whole, having played 3 and 4 before now. Here's my first screenshot - leaving the Kiel Canal on our first patrol - crew in good spirits, boat working well, weather not looking promising...

Hopefully I'll be putting more up as the patrol goes on...
