Default Heer Kapitain's Aces Kampaign

Here is my record of sinkings of enemy ships to which I have downloaded the add ons for Silent Hunter II. This is my Second Campaign. (Aces Kampaign) before the it went spastic on me on the 8th mission . Now I have reloaded it and now doing the original missions again to which I will post my record on this site.

1) 1939 Fall Mission

This is a combined effort of the U-Boat Service and the Luftwaffe to attack Polish ships in the port of Danzig

2) 1940 Winter Mission

This is mission is to stop the British sinking our Ships to which the U-Boat Service must protect till more surface ships are built to protect convoys.

* The boat had taken 10% damage from repeated fire taken from armed merchant liner and armed troop transports whilst being on the surface in rough weather.

Other Comments

* Had 3 dud torpedos which hit armed merchant liner to no avil.
* Had to use the subs main battery (88mm) to sink armed merchant liner at a distance of 2,645 metres (enemy’s broadside – port side) in rough weather to sink her.


3) 1940 Spring Mission

This is mission is to defend a zone that you have been tasked till our newest battlecruisers are put to sea and you are to destroy major British warships, which they are is tasked to destroy our troop transports and supply ships.

This is mission is to stop a convoy of British merchant ships which have been sighted at grid BF46 (GR: 8°25`W, 46°48`N) to which you must inflict maximum damage onto the enemy.

* The boat had taken 40% damage from repeated fire and depth chargers taken from enemy ships and aircraft whilst being on the surface and under water.

Other Comments

* 2 x US tankers and 1 British merchant where shelled with 88mm at a distance of between 1500 metres to 2800 metres whilst on the surface. Some ships took over 100 rounds to destroy while others took only 30-40 rounds
* All other ships where sunk at periscope depth and a distance between 348 metres to 1200 metres.
* had 3 missed torpedoes

5) 1940 Fall Mission

This is mission is after the defeat of France, the British are more cautious, ships are being organised in small convoys and the area of operations id between the Irish Sea and the Western Approaches. The first convoy if from the USA which is fully loaded with war material via Iceland and Ireland, so you patrol this area and destroy as many ships as you can.

* All ships where sunk at either periscope depth or on the surface and a distance between 348 metres to 1200 metres.
* had 3 missed torpedoes

6) 1940 Winter Mission

This is mission you are to patrol Southern Sea off Iceland which are continuously crossed by convoys heading for the UK or USA. Attack and destroy as many as you can.

* The boat had taken 30% damage from repeated D/C’s from British destoryer 4 hits taken from enemy ships and 2 hits from AMC on the surface and under water.

Other Comments

* The last 2 ships (GR: 11°35`W, 49°50`N and GR: 9°14`W, 46°56`N)
where shelled with 88mm at a distance of 3750 metres whilst on the surface. Both ships took 100 rounds to be destroyed.
* Had Nil missed torpedoes on this mission
* Had 4 missed 88 rounds when attacking the last two ships near Lorient.
* Been rammed by destroyer and D/C’d by it to which it turned around to come at me by this time I sank to 150m and waited for the convoy to come above me then came to periscope depth to which I attack and sank the required ships. At no time during the attack was I attacked by the convoys escort ships.

7) 1941 Spring Mission

This is mission you patrol the North African Coast in a zone between Dakar and Gibraltar and sink the Allied Convoy that’s is operating in that area that you might come across also patrol the designated patrol point.

* The boat had taken 20% damage from repeated D/C’s from British destroyer under water 4 hits taken from enemy Corvette on the surface.

Other Comments

* The few ships where shelled with 88mm such as armed merchant liner and some other merchant ships at a distance of 5,000 metres and below whilst on the surface. Plus I also used my Anti Aircraft guns to attack the merchant ships as well when all of the 88mm shells and torpedos were expended.
* Had Nil missed torpedoes on this mission
* Had 4 missed 88 rounds when attacking the last two merchant ships off the Moroccan coast (Casablanca and Fedala to be exact).
* All of the British Escorts did not attack me as I’d went in silent at periscope depth ahead of the convoy and after I’d made my turn to come into the convoy and also after I’d commenced the initial attack on the convoy.
