Ok. I wasn't aware of that. But graphics arn't everything in a game (Operation Flashpoint for example. Great game in every level although the graphics are somewhat old). If a game works without bugs and player feels there's a purpose what you're doing then I think I'm content for this new sim. Besides I don't even recall ever playing a WW1 Subsim before. I'm waiting for this one to come out

I'd kill for graphics like that in SH4 as well... That is, I would kill SH4's developers if they came up with something like that!

campaign-mode for the entire time frame from 1914 to 1918
Does that mean the campaign is dynamic?

i'm genuinely looking forward to this one...submarines AND WW1 ..brilliant..
if it's even remotely interesting i'll be ditching SH3 for this straight away--

Well, I don't think I will be ditching SH3 anytime soon, but a dynamic campaign WWI sim would be like a dream come true. I have wanted a WWI sim with a dynamic campaign for far too long. I would absolutely love to see WWI-era battleships, destroyers, and ocean liners. The thought of seeing dazzle camo on liners like Mauretania or Olympic, or seeing the Hospital ship Britannic, or Lusitania. But then again, I probably have my hope set too high.

The game looks very interesting....Especially the fact to have the possibility to play in WW1...without sonar . That´s what I´ve waited for a long time. And if the graphics are not so good, so I´ve to say, the price is not as high as all the other games. For that price the graphic looks good enough.

And finally if the campaign is dynamic a dream would come true for me.

Then let´s wait wether the physical reactions of things of the boats are realistic enough or not...and so on. This is more important than the graphics cause the gameplay is most important for me.

I´m looking forward to get this game when it´ll be released.

And I think when the game is good enough, the community (modders) will make the game for a real opponent of silent-hunter III...especially for that people who wants this period of time (WWI)....like me

If the game has the following:

1. True Dynamic Campaign.
2. Good Sound.
3. Good AI.
4. Mission variability (convoys not all being the same).

I will be thrilled beyond belief. Even better if we can see some Battleships shelling each other too. Could be good!
