All right, I made the purchase. Cyberpower. Phenom 9850 Black edition. 9800 GT 512mb. 4 gig DDR 800 and Vista Home Premium 64 bit. The computer has not arrived yet but I did purchase a Samsung Syncmaster 22 inch today. DVI makes a nice screen. Crisp and clear.

Now is the time to check your links for Vista tweaks.

Interesting article! Really dispells a lot misinformation that we've been force fed. Kinda reminds me of the days when XP first came out and everybody that switched over to it was posting all kinds of nastygrams at the BA Forums, about B-17 not running on XP, and all the problems and frustration it caused.

Yes I understand. I was one of them 98 fans who didn't like XP. I cursed it and said the same thing everyone else did back in 2000. But then like Vista it grew on me. I've heard all this before now with vista.... lol sounds like a broken record..

I know better now.
