Beautiful!
One question though, is the moon correctly sized? Should be 0.5 degrees as seen through the periscope.

There is a new Smoke version 1.5 with lower flames corrected and improved. No more boxes.
Problem was developers use that texture in a bit odd way IMO but now it is working fine.

Yes, you are right.
I have updated the mod, now it includes an option to real size moon.
