Default Compartment Door Open/Close Sounds

I'm still waiting for my SH5 copy to arrive in the mail.

I'm here watching a Youtube video and listening to the clangy footsteps, walking through a flooded compartment with no splashing sounds as there is walking.. and the compartment doors shutting closed and sounding like a kitchen cubbard closing.

Are the sound mods that are made already covering these issues already? I was hoping to hear a heavy sounding groan of metal with a big THUNK and then a spin of a metal wheel closing compartment doors. The splashing of water as you walk through flooded compartments (variable depending on how fast you are walking/running)...... just sort of ick'd at the Stock sound.

The stock sounds are awful.

The best two overall sound mods I've encountered are CaptHelm's and Stormy's, use your preference of the two. I go with Stormy's because I like the extra murmured background voices and general sounds of life on board.

As for the compartment hatches, I honestly can't remember if either of the packs have had a sound for that. Would be a nice idea, but somewhat of an immersion killer to have it go through the whole 'spinning and tightening' routine, since that would take several seconds, and by that time your character is halfway across the next compartment.

Water sloshing in certain flooded compartments when you walked through would be an interesting touch, but would be odd to see since there is no visual water that accumulates. In general, a lot of the damage sounds are IMO difficult to mod just because the stock visual representation of damage is so underwhelming.
