Default I need some help

ahoy mates!

I've recently found time to sit my ass back in the chair to command my uboot again.
It's been a long while since i last played SHIII or any other game in the genre.
Basically, what I need help with is to pick a few nice mods.
I have been reading alot about the differrent mods, but can't figure out wich goes with what and which mods are outdated etc.

Basically, I run SHIII patch 1.4 (latest patch I believe) and I also want to run GW3.0 gold (have already downloaded)

So, can anyone point me in the direction of any graphical enhancement mod that is compatible with this one, and any other "essential" mod on the market, because I have lost completely track and there is so much to choose from it seems.

I'm sorry if this makes me look lazy, but I have been trying to find out on my own. There is just so many dead links and HUGE amount of mods to navigate around that it's near impossible to come into it from scratch at this point.

PS. I run the game in 100% realism or close to, so any "super torpedo" mods or "cheat mods" are not concidered important in my eyes.

I don't have any right away, I would try GWX (with some of the optionals included, always use 16km atmosphere ) first, then if you feel anything's missing, find something to mod that.

maybe a new skin for your boat, at least, to distinguish yourself from all the others (and make an easily idientifiable target for the tommies)

I would reccomend OLCGUI , it has graphical enchansments and make the manual targeting a real pleasure (and pain ).
Also merchant fleet mod is a welcome edition in witch you will find many more ships and you wont recognize in first glance of their siluete.

LifeBoats&Debris v.4 from Rubini is a good mod. Also from Rubini Flags Enlighten.

TMT.mod

OLC Gold "MkII" from onelifecrises. However, quite difficult to plan your target. Or from H. Sie (hsGUI v3[1].1.rar)

Decks Awash (your U-Boat) will dive a little (7 meters) and your watch crew will stay on the bridge ... good mod too.

There are over 100.000 mods, just look at Jimbuna's image on the link that I wrote before. You will see his image and certain mods.
