Which is to test FOTRSU If you add a boatload of mods either before or after enabling FOTRSU, you are not really testing FOTRSU You may get all kinds of strange ****yt going on because of mod soup EDIT If you are not running these mods concurrently with FOTRSU then please accept my apology.

Well here is something you don't see every day. I was testing out a new mission I'd just created. I came across a Aussie Small Split Freighter duking it out with two Japanese merchants. This Aussie captain was really putting up a fight. I decided to help him out.
Look a little closer and you'll see the Aussie ship sailing backwards.

Were the Japanese merchants surprised at the Aussie's torpedo attack cdrsubron7? I'll bet they wondered how they got the launcher to work...
Your screen grab does bring to light the problem with "sharing assets" in game between the antagonists. Would the Australians have painted their ships the same camo that the Japanese would have?... On another note, I have discovered the "Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service" re-enabling itself on both of my computers in Windows 7 64-bit. I have printer and document sharing turned on between my computers, but NOT music or video. Yet, somehow or other, Windows decides that I need the media sharing discovery turned on. On the big box, not so much of a big deal, but it might be what's keeping missions from completing. I'll go revisit that later today. On this little machine though, the WMP Network Sharing will gobble up 50% of the cpu, and 900 mb of swap file on the hard drive. Unacceptable. I've disabled it multiple times, yet it keeps getting re-enabled with Windows Update installs (I guess). I've Run "Services.msc" and set the Start-up behavior to "Disabled". We'll see how that goes. Just changing settings in the Network and Sharing Center for the Homegroup and Sharing Options doesn't seem to stick to what the user wants... With it turned off, my cpu will idle just fine at 1%-5%, hard drive at like 200mb. As soon as that sharing junk turns on, it's up to 50+% cpu, 900+mb hard drive. Unreal... |

Now, on the other hand, if you're an adventurous sort of lad or lassie and have a mod that works well with FOTRS Ultimate, by all means let us know. We'll take it to our infamous Laboratory of Doom and Pepsi Cola and either certify it or make it into a Certified FOTRS Ultimate Mod Plugin. Remember. Certified FOTRS Ultimate Mod Plugins are single purpose mods which interfere with no other mods, or at least interfere only with other mods that change the same game characteristic. (for instance a TMO keyboard wouldn't be compatible with a stock keyboard).

I tried to write the roster files so that no Japanese skin would appear on an allied ship But I may well have missed some - as I have in this instance Still - this is good. This is what testing is for I will fix the issue with the Small Split Freighter, and upload it to the Google drive as soon as I am done. Tomorrow probably Now we have this potential issue highlighted, can I ask all you guys too look out for this. If you see an allied ship wearing what looks like a Japanese skin, please let me know, and I will fix it Thanks for your help everyone

The Japanese Maru Class optional mod was just uploaded to Area 51.
On those screenies that showed the Aussie small split freighter, just wanted to say that I did not put that ship in the mission, it was put there by the game engine. Pure happenstance that I came across the conflict.

Been working on the Marshall/Gilberts Islands single missions this afternoon, enjoying myself as usual. Thought I share a couple of screenies with you guys. I should mention that if you haven't installed those xtra ships you should, because I am starting to incorporate them into missions now. Anyway, on to the screenies.
Sometimes some of the scenes from this game are just too much. Hard to put words to them, if you know what I mean. max, my friend. This ship is a thing of beauty. Here one of the 10 addon ships in action.

OK, hypothetical question for you guys. Say I was able to take a US ship and clone it into a Japanese ship. Say I got everything working correctly, but the ship still had an American flag waving from the mast. How would one change the American flag to Japanese?
