@ STEED

Beer and fags still okay though, huh?

I tell you what, though... I'm going to make sure I keep at least three posts away from Reece for the next seven days

It would seem that Moscow may be locked down, with public transport and non groceries/farmacies closed down, roads to and from the city shut down, police and national guard patrolling the streets and enforcing curfew.

I have really hard time to fully embrace the aftermath of this crisis.

How it will effect us on every level in our society.

While just over 100 sick people are being reported it would seem that we are taking this epidemic very seriously. I wonder how the lock down would work, Moscow is a big city and some groups (ie illegal migrants) may have problems finding food etc without work.

In small babysteps they are creeping towards it. The ministre president of the German state Northrhine-Westphalia, the biggest of the 16 states with the Ruhrgebiet located in it and the biggest population, said that he stands ready to bring out curfew and total lockdown immediately when the federal government indicates it wants to move at that direction. We have the highest case number of all 16 states as well. He described the situation as being dramatic and said it is about nothing less than "life or death"

I think it is coming for certain, and maybe even already during this week, its absolutely possible and I would agree with it, absolutely. In Brussles, some are said to be almost furious about the crazy Germans and their laziness, the rest at least frowns their eyebrows. IMO it comes days and days too late anyway. Could last for anything from 2 weeks until after Easter, most likely. But certain is nothing in these times. Using my new action cam for bike tours will have to wait. If I get any opportunity at all this year, who knows. Luxury problems of spoiled brat.

Today they locked down all shops in my hometown. Some did not even care to open for this last day. Some will never open again if it last for longer than 2-4 weeks. Easter goods all were on sale, I read. I was not out anymore. My boat alrready is submerged, doing 1/3 on both screws at periscope depth, having cleared the harbor yesterday already. And I felt I already was late with that, maybe I already have unwanted passengers. in 12 days or so I will know for sure.

Its easy for me, since not much in my regular life chnages, I have always been a lone wolf and live dlike one, but for my parents it is tough, althoguh they try to hide it. Google Duo helps them a lot, we communicate daily with it, especially my Mum is happy when she also cna see me. Others may use Skype or whatever, but people: talk to your elderly in your family, stay in frequent, daily contact, use video chat if possible, it works wonders. It helps them to keep up their moral, not falling into despair and giving in to fear - fear not so much about themselves, since they are old, but about you, their offsprings.

^ Have you been infected Skybird ?

If so, then I'm truly sad to hear this.

To another story

Some friend had posted a bulletin where my friend recommend us to stay home as long as possible in other words follow what the Danish politicians and the Danish authorities have told us.

Then one of my friends friend wrote:

"No (ugly word) politicians shall tell me what I shall do or not do, I do as I please."
