That was taken at the SubSim Meet 2008 and the bar was to the left but you wouldn't be able to see it for people like TarJak and myself 'having fun'.

I seen one a few years ago heading towards a backyard from a grassy park down the road from where I live .
I stood on a death adder once while on Moreton island .
I had a red bellied black crawl across my shoes while playing golf .
Actually the place is riddled with snakes now that I think of it .

Don't whinge about having to sleep on the wet patch.

I've only seen two snakes in the wild in many years of hiking and camping. Besides the benefits far outweigh the risks of being bitten, eaten or or otherwise molested by creepy crawlies.
