Reminds me of my disastrous outcome with the Bitter Peace the last time I played when Hungary ate Poland and I wound up attacking from Hungarian Poland which lead to a Hungarian Russia, which buggered up the Bitter Peace event completely.

The invasion of Britian, weak from war they are quickly falling, there navy in shambles, and the industry pushed over the edge. It would seem they moved there entire army to africa, and india. only real threat in britian is 5 devisions protecting London, Scapa flow and Bristol (which just fell.)

Russia, fighting a 2 Large front war is also starting to crumble.

We are also at war with america. whos power isnt even on par with mine.

Phew...well...the major part of the North African campaign is pretty much over now. It took a LOT of hard work to dislodge the British, and Ethiopia was sacrificed in the effort along with the forces which were regrettably left behind there. In Spain Franco battles against the British tides which flow from Gibraltar like the rabid monkeys which spawn there, Hitler meanwhile is quiet...too late...he's planning something I'm sure. I just hope that when me and Spain do join the Axis, he doesn't send too many forces into Spain to help Franco and bugger up his chances at Barbarossa...

After ages spent trying to find an encirclement, a lone artillery unit shuttles out into the Qatar depression, only accessible through Alexandria, and encircles the British forces.

The name Franco followed by a long stream of swearwords is a frequent conversation piece in Rome

The Titans clash in the Med, RM and RN come face to face, with a Jutland-esque outcome. The Royal Navy is forced to retreat but the unfair exchange of a battleship for a Light Cruiser is made. However, later victories against battleships would help settle the score a little.

The pocket is closed, it's all over for the British now.

Now for the drive to the Suez!

Something has to be rong. Itilians dont advance, they retreat... wait did you turn them around and tell them to retreat in the rong direction. Cleaver...

Now, I have a question.

Does the ai get a bonus when restrenghening after a attack, because the british units seem to.

You can move units into the Qattara Depression from Alexandria? That's new to me...

Even so, if it's unaccessable from everywhere else, you got technical isolation even without taking it.

@TF - On medium difficulty, they don't (Not sure about higher difficulties). Morale is the value that effects reorganization and some doctrine paths improve it more than others. How's your doctrine research?

German Spearhead doctrine has the highest organization, but I believe in the late stages of the game the Grand Battle Plan doctrine becomes superior in terms of morale (At least for Infantry). Of course, nothing beats Human Wave for morale (At the expense of some other obvious factors ).

Speaking of organisation and morale, it looks as though my game has come to an unexpected halt. With the British in charge of most of southern Spain, the Italians in charge of Malta and the British in charge of Syria I am unable to move my forces any further forward due to lack of supply.
The only thing I can do now is just sit tight and wait for either the Germans to beat off the British and then get steamrollered by the Soviets or for the British to steamroller me.

No supply? Why? You should be able to drop off supplies in North Africa from Italy unless the British are raiding your convoys heavily...

Unless you don't have supplies in general, but you can always buy those off Germany temporarily, can't you?

I have plenty of supplies, the odd ship is being lost in convoys from time to time but nothing serious, I have plenty of oil, I haven't seen a British ship, short of the odd transport travel east of Gibraltar in a long time. Unless they're sneaking in subs through the Suez and basing them in Syria, but the subs and ships I have raiding convoys down the coast of Egypt haven't seen any British subs...in fact none of my ships have seen British subs that I've been made aware of.
I honestly don't know what's causing it, the only thing I can put it down to is submarines but I haven't seen any. My units in Alexandria are all drawing supply from Tripoli but my armour unit and several infantry units are stating that they're out of oil and none of them seem to be regaining organisation or morale, they keep flickering between +6 recover and -1.

Huh...and now it's fine, but the Brits have just annihilated my only unit in Spain. Franco...you're an idiot.

With that rather strange occurrence dealt with, we've crossed the Suez and are ploughing into Palestine. Our only armour unit was regrettably isolated and destroyed on a daring push into Jerusalem but our infantry can manage without it against what must be the dying dregs of the British forces.
The Royal Navy clobbered the Regina Marina in a battle that saw the Trento and some other ships lost. The Nazis have invaded the Soviet Union and seem to be doing about historically, Finland on the other hand was overrun almost immediately and is now a Soviet puppet.
I've taken military control of Spain, and now face the extremely difficult task of dislodging what must be most of the British army from Spanish territory.
