Well, that is the same information that was posted before (and which I saw on the Ubisoft forum earlier than even that anyway). But I don't need the shipping address now - I just bought a calling card from the University and called the 1-900 number. I now have everything taken care of, although Ubisoft still hasn't verified my information or even acknowledged my first request for help. Thank you for the information anyway.

Just sent mine in, using the "ask a question" feature, included a scan of my box and my receipt. Hopefully they'll send it...

Jesus Christ this is a pain in the ass.
I've tried using the Ask a question feature on the website it it keeps coming up with an error. So I called the number and they gave me the fax number to send in. But I keep getting a "cell number is out of service" I put a 1 in front and someone answered..not from ubisoft. What fax number are you guys calling from alberta, canada? 1-919-468-xxxx Or just 919-468-xxxx Or what? thanks It's ok I got the website working..Zonealarm was messing it up for some reason. I sent in the files though the "Qsk a question" like they asked me to do as an alternative to fax. Last edited by Grobschnitt; 03-29-07 at 05:49 PM. |

I still do not consider this to be an adequate solution, for two reasons:
1) The stocks of bonus materials are "limited". Not cool. 2) Any Canadian who didn't grab a copy quickly (or jump on the new-release bandwagon) now is left out in the cold, since this only applies to purchases before the 26th. Even though I already have a copy, any new person who wants the bonus materials in Canada will be forced to order from the UBI store and pay extra for shipping. Not cool.

Faxed mine off just now 1-919-468-3305.
I would like to thank the people responsible for getting this information. And another big thanks if I ever get it delivered. I agree this is very bad for their PR. I feel bad for the ones purchasing after the 26th. |

Apparently, if they don't respond (or if they just hold your online submission of materials), your request has been approved and you just wait in line (in the order they received your request) until they get the materials. A representative on the tech support line told me something like that - I don't remember exactly what. It looks like my request has been approved though - the representative checked out my incident number while I was on the phone and said it was approved. It's just a matter of how many copies of the bonus material they end up getting for destribution, I guess.

If they haven't responded, I'd definitely get back in touch with them again. Get a confirmation that they have received what they require from you and they will in fact ship the bonus material to you. Oh, and while you have their attention, that may be a good time to enquire about any shipping fees.
Good luck. |
