Bit of a disaster last week TOON going down 1-0 to third bottom Blackburn Rovers meaning a five point cushion at the top of league was cut to two.

A chance to make amends tonight, playing Premiership team Hull City away in the quarter final of the EFL Cup.

Got a new TV-channel provide and due to this I have full access to every channel they have even those that cost money, for the next 14 days

Before I went to my job I toke a look on my program guide to see what's on the TV tonight and I saw Eurosport 2 will broadcast Hull-Newcastle

And I'm watching the game right now.

0-0 so far, with a little plus for the TOON when it comes to chances and having the ball.

Edit
Hull-Newcastle 0-1 in ET, HURRAY
one minute later
Hull-Newcastle 1-1, not hurray

TOON were eventually beaten 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out.

TOON went down 2-1 against Nottingham Forest last night having had two men sent off, a goal disallowed and our goalkeeper saving two penalties.

Some of the referees decisions should make him a childrens favorite at christmas panto this year.

Both red cards were rescinded by the FA but unfortunately not the result.

It just so happens the name of the referee is Steve Martin....obviously more than one comedian with the same name.

TOON lead Birmingham 2-0 at half time so should go back to the top of the league in under an hour.

Full time score 4-0 and the mackems go back to the bottom of the Premiership after a 4-0 roasting from Swansea.

TOON beat Wigan 2-0 to return to top of the league and the Mackems go down 1-0 to Chelsea to remain bottom of their league.

I know this is a few days old now, but the wilful ignorance of Mourinho continues to amaze me.

Further rumours are circulating that the owner of Sunderland, Ellis Short is willing to sell the club for a price somewhere in the region of £160 million but one sticking point could be the additional payment of £70 million from any buyer should Sunderland avoid relegation at the end of the season.

Last three or four seasons they managed to avoid relegation. Standard 10€ bet nowdays that they stay up...

Quess Black Cats have 6 to 5 avoid relegations left...
