Well I won't force a reset if you still want to finish something. Got any idea on the time still needed?

Ow the hunt for my seeekret base is over. Had to build another entrance to lure grass in and it kinda gives it away.

@Neon: How long you'll take? Those with no projects can't really start anything now as reset is "close".

No time, its done. My other project of a underground drowning trap will have to remain unfinished as I haven't the time or the inclination

When will you be saving the current map Arclight? As some of us have a Scorched Earth policy and plan to blow up some of our projects after the save.

Neon your castle is very cool, and your trap seemed quite effective.

Ultimately it was your tower that killed me...

In tradition of starting something I'll ultimately never finish, I plan on using the resources I gather from my giant hole/castle to build another spaceship.

This update affects both the client and the server, but the server update isn’t mandatory. I highly suggest updating, though.
* Fixed various blocks acting really weird when placed (rails, torches, and more)
* Optimized performance
* Added a new painting that we forgot to include yesterday
* Reduced spawn rates a bit
* Fixed a whole pile of lighting bugs
* No more ghosts at night
* Added a temporary fix to get rid of chunk visibility errors
The last one is interesting.. The problem with chunk visibility errors was that for some reason the “dirty” flag on chunks and the list of “dirty chunks” got out of synch. There wasn’t time to try to do a proper fix today, so I just made the client check a couple of dirty chunks per frame to make sure they’re in the list.
So until we fix it proper, you might get invisible chunks, but they will fix themselves after a second or two, usually way before you even get close to them.

Should be interesting to see if that actually solves our chunk error problem.

Alrighty, that should do it. New, fresh world; let's see if that solves some issues.

It'll be a while before I can upload the backup. That map made a right mess of things.

I'll get everyone a full set of metal tools and a stack of torches to get started.
